But for several decades now, people have been entering such information into a computer and storing it there. In order to do this, you must learn to type.
The computers that we use today have a very high speed of data processing, as well as large volumes for their storage, which is important. Modern PCs are much easier to manage than their predecessors, and the perception of the information displayed is more convenient. Learning to type text is a snap. You will need a standard computer with a keyboard or laptop for this. Popular operating systems contain text editors that you will also need to print text.
I will show how this is done, using the example of the device on which the Windows "Piggy" is installed. As soon as you turn on your computer and it boots up, start the start menu, where you need to go to the program section, and there you can expand the tab of standard applications and launch Notepad or Wordpad. Before you open the workspace of the editor, in which we will print letters and symbols on the keyboard. It’s better to start with a notepad, because it does not contain any complex tools, and it is easy to manage.
Now we go directly to practice and start typing. As an example, let's take a few sentences: “I am near my computer and am learning to type. It will be small, due to the fact that this is my first attempt. Next time you can try something more. " Make sure that the Russian layout of your keyboard is currently turned on. Otherwise, it must be changed to Russian. This is done using a combination of Alt and Shift keys or Control and Shift, depending on what keyboard settings were made in your computer.
We put the cursor at the beginning of the first line and start typing the text. In order to make a capital letter, you must click on the corresponding key on the keyboard along with the Shift button. Small letters are typed by simply clicking on the buttons corresponding to them. There is a space between each word. It is located at the bottom of the keyboard (long button without inscriptions). In this way, enter the proposed phrase, taking into account all the spaces. Now about punctuation marks. A point is set by pressing the key, which is located to the left of the right Shift button. A comma is also set, only at the same time as the dot you must still press Shift. There is no need to make a space between a word and a period (or comma), placed after it.
If you made a mistake, you can delete it using the two keys specifically designed for this. The first is called "backspace" and is one button above the "input". It deletes the character to the left of the cursor. We will see the second “delay” button to the right of the backspace (on laptops, the location of the keys may differ depending on the model). It deletes the character to the right of the cursor. For starters, that's enough for you. Train.
