LLC Center-South Airlines has recently existed on the Russian air transportation market. Her field of activity included seasonal flights throughout Central Russia and Siberia, as well as to neighboring countries.
About airline
Domestic airline Center-South was created in 1991, but it received a license to carry out its activities two years later.
Base airports were Belgorod and Big Savino in Perm. The company was engaged in seasonal flights across European Russia and neighboring countries.
Also, passengers were offered the services of VIP, private and corporate flights. For over 20 years, the company has been working in the field of business aviation. Moreover, a private flight could be arranged at least three hours before the planned departure time. Demand for VIP transportation was quite high, so Center-South reacted as quickly as possible to requests for organizing flights. This policy acted in connection with great competition in this industry. The preparatory period for aircraft was reduced to a minimum.
On board passengers were offered two classes of service, like most Russian carriers: economic and business. The Center-South airline was once the official carrier of the Lokomotiv-Belogorye volleyball team.
Over the 24-year period of activity, not a single incident has occurred. October 1 last year, the company temporarily suspended its work. Such a decision was made by Rosaviatsia based on the results of inspections. A number of serious violations were identified, which led to the cancellation of the license on October 23.
Air park
In 2015, the company operated two types of domestic aircraft: Sukhoi Superjet and Tu-134. Also, the Yak-40 aircraft entered the fleet.
Sukhoi Superjet airliners with registration numbers RA 89004, 89007, 89053 were designed to carry 89 passengers. There were 12 seats for business passengers and 75 for economy class passengers in the cabin. It was on these aircraft that they began to apply branded livery. Machines of this type were new. Tu-134 aircraft were used at the time of the revocation of the license for business flights.

Center-South Airlines: customer reviews
Passengers who used the services of the company noted a large percentage of delays and cancellations of flights. The system of informing tourists about cancellations and delays in the schedule has not been established. In connection with the suspension of the airline, the passengers had to go through the refund procedure for tickets, which caused them a lot of inconvenience.
Of the positive aspects of the enterprise, tourists distinguish:
- excellent flight service;
- helpful and qualified staff;
- low attractive airfare;
- professionalism of the flight crew;
- cleanliness and neat appearance of salons;
- courtesy and responsiveness of cabin crew;
- good condition of the aircraft.

Since 1993, Center-South Airlines has existed in the passenger transportation market in Russia. The scope of activities included seasonal, regular and VIP flights, mainly within the country. Since 2015, she suspended her activities, as the Federal Agency "Rosaviation" revoked her license. This happened because unscheduled inspections revealed a large number of violations. The declared aircraft for flights were not enough. However, this measure is only temporary. In general, passengers spoke well of the airline, but noted a large percentage of delays and cancellations.
