Method number 1. Print Screen
Many do not even know the purpose of most of the keys on their keyboard, but in vain, sometimes they are very useful. But since we are now discussing the question of how to screen on a laptop, we will not list everything, but focus on Print Screen.
This key is located in the upper right part of the keyboard. And it happens that it is signed by Prt Sc. Click her. Nothing happened, right? And here it is - it happened, you took a screenshot of your screen. Only now, probably, you have a question: where is he? Do not be afraid, everything is as planned, it is currently placed on the clipboard. If you do not know what it is, then it is not necessary, now it is not the main thing.
You now need to enter Paint - this is the standard image editor in Windows. You can open it in many ways, but we suggest using the search and enter the name of the program in the line.
As soon as Paint opens, press the key combination Ctrl + V or RMB and select "Paste" from the menu. The screen shot appeared before you.

Let’s now simulate a situation: you are sitting on your favorite social network VKontakte and noticed something interesting there that you want to urgently show to your friends. And first of all, you think it would be nice to save a screenshot. But, unfortunately, you do not know how to screen VKontakte on a laptop. It doesn’t matter, open the “Scissors”, click “Create”. You will immediately see a screenshot. Now it remains only to click "Save" and choose where to place it.
Method number 3. LightShot
Before that, we talked about standard programs, but now it's time to discuss the installed software. We will consider LightShot, as this is one of the best programs for creating screenshots.
After you have downloaded and installed it, you can already take a picture, but it will be better to configure the program. As you probably noticed, you have a new icon in the tray - a purple feather. Click RMB on it and select "Settings".
Now a window has appeared in which we are only interested in one tab - “Hot Keys”. In it, simply indicate which keys are most convenient for you to take a screenshot. After that click “OK”.
Now display on the screen what you would like to photograph, and press the keys you specified. After these actions, the selected area appears (as in the figure above), stretch it as you like. That's basically it. After clicking on the “Save” icon, this area as a picture will be saved on the PC. It is also possible to upload it directly to the Internet, after which you will receive a link to it, which you can then send to friends. The fourth method is more suitable for those who use the Yandex.Disk cloud storage. The bottom line is that in addition to storage, the program provides the ability to take screenshots.
To get started, go to the program settings and select the “Screenshots” tab, and already there set up the hot keys. After that, you can safely open what you wanted to photograph, and press the very keys that you indicated.
The photo is saved in the storage in the “Screenshots” folder.
