Before you clear the cache in Google Chrome, you need to understand what it is. The browser cache is a database that contains various content from the sites you visit. In fact, Chrome saves part of a web page on a computer. This is very convenient, because when you visit it again, part of the data (pictures, flash, etc.) will not be downloaded from the Internet, but directly from the user's computer. Naturally, such a scheme significantly speeds up the speed of displaying a web page.
However, along with the advantages, this approach has its own weakness, which forces one to be interested in how to clear the cache in Chrome. The fact is that the browser often saves completely unnecessary information about those resources that are not of value to the user. In addition, the long life of Chrome leads to an increase in the volume of the database storing information from various sites. This, in turn, raises two main problems.
1. The first one is that if you do not clear the Google Chrome cache in a timely manner, then expanding its size will reduce the free space. And since the cache is located on disk “C” by default, the growth of its volumes can cause the poor operation of Windows and its programs. Moreover, as a rule, they do not allocate a lot of space on the hard drive under the local "C" drive.
2. The second reason is that the inflated cache will become more difficult to use. The abundance of information, instead of helping the download, will become a stumbling block, slowing down the speed of displaying information in a browser window.
