- rotation speed at optimal operation mode - 2.2 thousand revolutions per minute;

A foreign power plant with a turbocharger and a direct injection of the fuel mixture slightly exceeds the parameters of the standard EK-14 excavator. Technical characteristics of the D-243 engine are as follows:
- cylinder capacity - 4.75 liters;
- rotation speed in the nominal operating mode - 2.4 thousand revolutions per minute;
- power - 85 kW.
The D-243 motor is also installed on the EK-14-20 modification. Choosing between the -14 model and its modification -14-60 follows, being guided by the set goals and terms of task performance. There is no significant difference in the cost of the presented copies of equipment.
Other modifications
The most affordable modification of the presented machine is the EK-14-20 excavator. Its technical characteristics are no different from those of the standard model. The power plant is the same. The differences are only in the configuration. Model 14-20 is manufactured with standard bucket-type equipment for 0.8 m 3 .
The EK-14-30 instance is the second most accessible technique in this category. It features a stroke motor and a Bosch-Rexroth brand hydraulic pump. A copy of 14-60 is equipped with similar equipment. The presence of additional units determines great functionality and performance.
Advantages of technology
Special equipment EK-14 and its modified models are unpretentious. Bosch hydraulic cylinders are equipped with an EK-14 excavator. Technical characteristics due to this are significantly improved, which is another advantage.
