Even despite the fact that in our time optical discs are quite rare, being almost completely crowded out by flash drives and cloud storage, we often record music on a disk, as the population has a huge amount of household appliances that are not equipped with USB ports . In addition, the owners of old car radios are often faced with the need to record music files to disk .
You will definitely not encounter any difficulties with such a recording. The only exception is the need to strictly follow the instructions, since otherwise you can easily "screw up" the disc. Among other things, non-observance of the elementary rules of recording will certainly lead to the fact that you will receive a miracle disk that cannot be read even in the drive of the computer on which the recording was made.
Most often, we burn music to disk using regular Windows programs, since it is quite simple to do, and you do not need to install third-party software in this case. But! All of the above applies exclusively to owners of the Windows family of operating systems, starting from Vista and older. The fact is that a similar program is included in XP, but its quality is such that with its help you can only successfully spoil disks, but itโs far from always possible to record them qualitatively ...
Before you plan to burn music to a disk, you should remember what hard drive it is located on. It is better to create a separate folder in advance and put in it all the tracks that you plan to record.
But how to put them on a disk? First of all, you need to take a disc of the type you want (suppose we are recording music on a CD), place it in the drive tray and wait until the system determines its type. To do this, open "My Computer" and wait until an empty disk icon appears in place of your drive.
After you double-click on it with the left mouse button, the dialog box of the recording wizard opens . If you want to record media that is guaranteed to be compatible with your home CD or DVD player, be sure to select the second item.
If you wish, give your disc a digestible name: note that most of the old household appliances are not friendly with the Cyrillic alphabet, so write the name in Latin characters. After that, the usual Explorer window will open, in the empty field of which you will have to drag or paste music files. All! Your music discs are almost ready!
After inserting the files, you can do this: either click on the button at the very top of the window (with the name โBurn Discโ), or right-click on the free field of Explorer and select the context menu item of the same name. In the recording window that follows this window, you must set the minimum value for speed, since writing a music disc with the standard utility means dooming yourself to disappointment. Click on the โNextโ button and record the music to disk. After a while, the recorded media will be ejected from the drive. Remember that while recording something to do with the computer is still undesirable.
