Grew Benjamin in the Bronx, along with his brother. They did not have a mother, so the father raised his sons alone. His brother was fond of firearms, especially rifles, so he often took him with him to the shooting ranges. But then the guy did not yet know that this was his element.
School years
At the age of 10, after his brother tried to kill his father, the boy went to a shelter. And then he began to study at school, where he was taken to the local baseball team. It turned out well with him, at least he managed to throw the ball. Only soon he had to forget about his sports career forever.
During one of the games, Tagged (“Marvel”) quarreled with a member of the opposing team. Being quick-tempered by nature, he killed him with one throw of a baseball. Naturally, he was immediately accused of murder and sent to prison.
After serving his term, Tagenny joined the army, and after that he joined the NSA. In the end, he became a mercenary, and this was the most suitable option for him. After all, there often had to kill, in general, do what he knew really well.
Skills and abilities
No, in no case should the Tagged be referred to as superhumans, he is an ordinary person. He just has several talents that make me doubt it:
- Physical training. First of all, Tagged (Marvel) is an athlete. He just controls his body so well that in terms of dexterity, strength, endurance and speed, only the most prepared Olympic athlete can compare with him.

The fact is that any item in his hands turns into a deadly weapon, i.e. if he wants, he can even kill with an orange. There was a case when on one of the tasks his weapon jammed, so he simply rushed him at his enemy, instantly killing him. It is also in his power to cut the throat of the enemy with a playing card, kill a person with a toothpick, or pierce a skull with a tooth.
- Murder. It is no secret that Ambal contained a small army of mercenaries to eliminate its competitors. So, Tagged was one of the best. After all, he is ruthless, and therefore ready to kill, without hesitation, any person.
- Martial arts. In addition to shooting, the hero "Marvel" Tagged also feels free in hand-to-hand combat. By the way, sometimes it doesn’t even come to this, as those who know about his reputation are not always ready to resist him.

Daredevil vs. Tagged
The villain began to earn negative popularity back in New York when he was engaged in extortion and murder. Moreover, he did not hide his criminal actions and even agreed to give an interview one day. Since then, everyone has known what Tagged (Marvel) looks like. A photo with him was printed in every news magazine. Then Daredevil also found out about him, who more than once destroyed his cunning plans.
No one has so openly challenged him. Therefore, he began to hunt for Daredevil, as he believed that he dampened his reputation. True, almost always he was defeated, because of which he became obsessed with the idea of destroying the “Devil of Hell's Kitchen”.
Thirst for revenge brought to the fact that he had a tumor in his head. But the scary thing is that during this period of time it has become even more dangerous for others. In each person, he saw his sworn enemy and, of course, killed him. At one point, his hatred grew into something other than murder. Therefore, when he nevertheless had the chance to deal with the Red, he did not begin to kill him. It was important for him to show the hero that all the murders committed by a mercenary were on his conscience.
Once he decided to watch for Daredevil in his own apartment. But there he was defeated. During the fight, which gradually moved to the roof, Tagged stumbled and fell down. And although the hero caught him, he refused to help, so a blow to the ground broke his spine in several places. He was taken to Japan, where he underwent an operation in which broken bones were replaced with similar ones from adamantium. True, his savior hoped that the mercenary would join the ranks of his army, but the Swordsman had other plans. His thoughts for a second did not leave the worst enemy - Daredevil.
He even somehow happened to be in the role of his foe when he was forced to leave the city for a while. Then Tagged (Marvel) put on his costume and began to perform the work of the hero - to punish the villains and help civilians. At some point, he became so accustomed to the role that he believed that he was Daredevil. True, the real Red Devil very soon convinced him of this.
Tagged and "Thunderbolts"
During the Civil War, the Tagged was admitted to the Thunderbolt squad, whose members sometimes became not the most pleasant personalities. But even there they treated him with caution, so they kept him in a separate cell under guard. His services were used only in emergency cases. For example, when you come across a goal that you could not cope without without it. Even against "his" people he was sometimes used, because not everyone can kill a teammate. And for him it was simple.
Once, when he was in operation after a serious injury, four telepaths tried to destroy the Thunderbolts from the inside. They drove the team crazy and would have easily implemented the plan, but underestimated the Tagged. Having decided that after the injury he was not dangerous, they left him in the end. And he, leaving the operating room, went to the cells and killed all four, not suspecting that he had saved a whole detachment from death.
Tagged and The Dark Avengers
After some time, Marked became a member of the Dark Avengers team. And he had a chance to fight with Tony Stark's Strengthened Costume - Hulkbuster. In the end, the mercenary still stopped the robot by firing at the pilot. A huge car then crushed several dozen people when it fell. Even Norman Osborne was unhappy with this outcome of the battle, for which he reprimanded the mercenary.

Perhaps it is worth mentioning another task that the Tagged (“Marvel”) went to fulfill as a member of the Dark Avengers. It was necessary to liquidate the group of terrorists who seized the building of the Roxon company. But when the mercenary came there, everyone was already dead. Here he met for the first time with whom they looked like two drops of water. He tried to kill the double, but he disappeared, uttering the last phrase: "Remember who you are, Leicester."
Having decided that the double is just a hallucination, he begins to take the appropriate drugs. But after a while, the double appears again. A fight ensues between them, in which the Marked one gets a shocker category and loses consciousness.
He comes to himself already on the operating table. Nearby are several surgeons and his counterpart, who explains that he cannot move, as he is paralyzed. Suddenly, another man in a wheelchair appears in the room, asking Solo (that was the name of the double) to leave. Having examined it, Tagged ("Marvel") is slightly lost. The meeting was a big surprise for him, because in the chair was the one whom he had once considered his father.
And he tells his son that he is not here by chance. And that he needs his body, therefore, in general, he is now lying on the operating table. And, most likely, the father would have opened his son, if not for the adamantium in his body, which the paralyzer had not acted on. Tagged jumps up, kills the surgeons and tries to destroy his father, but Solo prevents him from doing this. Between them, a fight ensues, in which a Markman kills a double with a bullet. After that, he knocks down his father’s plane and, not paying attention to his pleas, watches until he completely burns down.
Tagged in the cinema
The “comic” adventures of the Tagged in 2003 also hit the big screens when the Irish actor Colin Farrell played his role in the film “Daredevil” . And rightly so, they took him, because according to the plot of the film, he plays an Irish assassin, whom Kingpin sent to kill his father Electra Nachios.
As a weapon for the murder, a mercenary with a tattoo on his forehead used the shurikens he wore on his belt. Although there were other dangerous items, such as peanuts, pencils, paper clips and broken glass.
