- moderate watering, but more frequent and plentiful during the appearance of buds;
- periodic loosening;
- digging bulbs after the end of the flowering period.
Tulips Van Eyck, like many other flowers, are responsive to fertilizer application, organic experts recommend using rotted manure on the beds.
The variety is quite frost-resistant. Tulips perfectly take root and winter not only in the Moscow region, but also in Central Russia, the Urals and Siberia, the northern and mountainous regions of Scandinavia.
The plant grows beautifully in both light and slightly shaded places.
Landing and care
Bulbs of tulip Van Eyck are planted, like other varieties of this plant, in the fall, at a time when at a depth of about 10 centimeters the soil temperature drops to + 8 ... + 10 ° . For example, in central Russia this is the period from the second half of September to the beginning of October.
For garden tulips, the planting depth depends on the size of the planted material.
