Airport of Armenia Zvartnots

Shirak - Gyumri Airport, Armenia
Chirac is the second largest airport in Armenia, built in 1961. Used as a backup for flights heading to Yerevan. The airport is located in the Shirak region, the city of Gyumri. The city center is about 5 km away.
He received international status in 2007 after a radical reconstruction. Like Zvartnots, the airport can accept all types of aircraft and helicopters. In addition, the Armenian Air Force is based on its territory . It is equipped with one runway, the length of which is 3220 m and the width is 45 m.
