In order to “switch painlessly” to a new operator or just buy a new number, you can use the Easy Step to Beeline service. This service is available for those customers who purchased a SIM card of this operator. What opportunities does it provide and on what conditions is it used? Let us consider this option in more detail in the current article.
“Easy step to Beeline: service description
The option is intended for subscribers who have changed their number and purchased a Beeline SIM card. With its help, you can inform people calling to the old number about a SIM change. Thus, the one who will call the old contacts will hear a message from the autoinformer that a change to another number has occurred. It is noteworthy that the old number can belong to any telecom operator; this does not have to be Beeline as well.
Service “Easy Step to Beeline: Terms of Use
- The previous number must have the status of “current”, its balance must be positive. In this case, the service will be immediately suspended after the balance is negative on the account or the SIM card is blocked (loss, voluntary blocking, blocking in the absence of paid actions during the period specified in the contract for the provision of communication services).
- The “Easy Step to Beeline” service is provided for free: the client does not have to pay either for connection or for use. Listening to messages by callers on an old SIM card is also not charged.
- If unconditional call forwarding is paid on the previous number, then every played message about changing the number will cost a pretty penny. You can clarify whether a charge for this type of call forwarding is charged through the contact center of the operator who owns this number.
- It is impossible to activate the service without having the old SIM card “at hand”, as the connection is carried out in two stages. One of which is setting up call forwarding to a service number.
Service Management
The “Easy Step to Beeline” service can be connected in two stages:
- On the new number (this, of course, should be Beeline), you should dial the command, indicating in it the number of the old SIM card in the format of eleven digits (with eight). For example, * 270 * 8911XXXXXXX #. In response to the number from which this request was dialed, a message containing a code will be received.
- On the previous SIM card, dial a request of the following form ** 21 * code received to new number #. This command sets up call forwarding.
Disable option
You can disable the “Easy Step in Beeline” by performing only two steps:
- on the new number dial the request * 270 * 00 # - this is the deactivation of the option itself;
- on the previous SIM card, cancel the forwarding that was previously installed using the service code - ## 21 #.
If you simply disable the option on the new number, this will not lead to the deactivation of automatic reporting. You should perform both actions on each of the SIM cards. In the future, if necessary, it will be possible to reconnect the service.
The owner of the black-and-yellow operator’s SIM card also has the opportunity to suspend reporting without disabling the service discussed in this article, because if it is disabled, you will have to activate it again if necessary. You can do this by dialing * 270 * 1 #. In the future, it can be resumed by replacing the unit with a deuce in the second part of the request — repeating the actions that were performed during the connection is not required.
