In the ranks of the Armed Forces there are several types of military ranks - military and naval. The former may be assigned to employees of various units, for example, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Internal Troops, the Intelligence Service, and other formations and bodies.
All ranks can be divided into unofficial, officer and higher. For example, foreman is a military neo-officer rank.
Commander Responsibilities
This title appeared on the territory of the USSR in 1935 and is assigned only to the best sergeants, whose service life is at least 6 months. The title must necessarily correspond to the position.
Directly in the company, the first chief of personnel is the foreman. The sergeant can also command soldiers. Both ranks provide for certain responsibilities, namely:
- both links are responsible for the correctness of service;
- execution of orders and military discipline;
- maintaining internal order;
- safety of property and weapons.
The senior company (battery) reports directly to the company commander (officer), and in his absence performs all necessary duties.
Procedure for conferring and changing a military rank
The title may be the first or the next and is assigned to each individually. The first ranks for sergeant and foremen are: private, sailor, sergeant, foreman. This is the beginning of the service of a citizen. In the future, having received the necessary education, you can earn the rank of an officer.
The rank of sergeant or sergeant is assigned after the successful completion of the training program for the training of these specialists (for example, at the military department or other educational organization).
The rank of junior officers is assigned to non-officers in cases when:
- the employee was trained by the reserve officers program and was accepted into the reserve;
- if the employee is in stock, then after the successful completion of the relevant offsets and military fees, he is also awarded the title;
- the foreman has a complete higher education, which corresponds to his military position (while the length of service is 6 months or more);
- he undergoes contract service in any of the formations or units, after passing special courses or training.
If the service is conducted in specific units, a prefix is made to the rank, for example, “foreman of the guard”, “foreman of the medical service”, etc. For those who are in reserve or retired, respectively, “foreman of the reserve”, “foreman of retirement” .
Because of what can they lose their ranks?
For the commission of any serious or especially serious crime, you can lose the rank of foreman. This is regulated by the law on military service.
A decrease in rank occurs when:
- a citizen who is called to undergo military training has violated the Disciplinary Code;
- the employee is found guilty of an administrative, criminal and other types of offenses.
Restoration of title and position occurs only after the complete removal of the criminal record.
There are exceptions in which a citizen cannot be returned the title of foreman - this is the commission of crimes equivalent to treason.
