The “Big Difference” was first shown in 2008. Over the years, this parody show has undergone many changes. Why is this necessary?
The show is often compared to OSP Studio, a program of a similar humorous nature that aired at the turn of the century. Since then, to make the audience laugh, programs like “Full House” and “Crooked Mirror” were accepted. But such a special genre as a parody remained out of work. The producer and subsequently the host of the show, Alexander Tsekalo, stood at the origins of his birth. “Big difference” received “refuge” on the main channel of the country, which could promise further success in advance. For the First, the appearance of such a show was necessary, given that KVN, in fact, remained his only humorous program. “The Big Difference” has a foreign counterpart - MadTV and Switch of the American and German versions, in which many stars of show business often beat acute everyday problems. Filming the first release took five months, the premiere took place on January 1, 2008.
History of creation
Several important factors can be attributed to the components of overall success: sparkling humor, quick reaction to events in the world and the actions of recognizable people who later became the faces on which the parody is made, the talent of the artists playing them and, of course, the host of “The Big Difference”. Fortunately, the program has two of them. Alexander Tsekalo chose Ivan Urgant as his partner , with whom they led the ProjectorParisHilton for five seasons. As a result, a wonderful on-screen duet was born, in which Tsekalo and Urgant constantly joked at each other, which gave the program an additional flavor.
In 2012, Urgant, who at that time was the host of his other programs - “Smak” and “Evening Urgant”, leaves the show. The program takes a short break and returns already in an updated format. The new season kicks off in 2013, associating itself as a “channel on a channel”. Soon the name changes too - from now on the show is called “Big Difference TV”.
Whom to call?
To transmit this scale, which started on New Year's Eve, and even on Channel One, colossal preparation of each of its creators was needed. And there were many of them: producers and ideological authors, a team of screenwriters, composers, make-up artists and artists, in whose hands the overall success of the program was concentrated. And also those without whom the show could not exist are actors. “Big difference” required maximum reincarnation, therefore, first-class artists were selected in the troupe. Over the seven years of their existence, many of them left the project, giving way to newcomers, and for someone he truly opened new doors.
Who to parody?
Simultaneously with the selection of the main cast of the troupe, the scriptwriters searched for those who were to become the “victim” of parodies. The participants of the “Big Difference” were selected, first of all, on the basis of the popularity of a certain circle of public figures, whether they were singers, actors, writers or anyone else. Among the most frequently played persons can be distinguished, such as Nikolai Baskov, Maxim Galkin, Mikhail Boyarsky, Alla Pugacheva, Nikita Mikhalkov, Andrey Malakhov. The leader of the parodies is Ksenia Sobchak, whose shocking style of behavior has repeatedly appeared in the center of the plot. So, a secular lioness 15 times became a participant in the “Big Difference” and more than once attended the program as a specially invited guest.

Alexander Oleshko. One of the sought-after comedic actors of theater and cinema, a host of many programs, a singer. Few people know that he is the head of the Ostankino children's theater studio, as well as the fact that in 2015 he received the title of “Honored Artist”.

Sergey Burunov. Born in 1977. I did not think that someday I would become an artist, since I had been dreaming of airplanes since childhood. Vyacheslav Manucharov began his acting career with the teenage series “Simple Truths”. After graduating from the Schukin School in 2003, he joined the troupe of the academic theater. In 2011, he moved to the Muz-TV channel, and two years later - to NTV, where he was the host of the programs.
Since 1999, Vyacheslav plays a lot on the stage. In the movie appears less often. In 2013, she starred in the children's fantasy “Country of Good Kids”. In “The Big Difference” he tries on exclusively male images: Marat Basharov, Sergey Zverev, Sergey Bezrukov, Ivan Urgant, Dima Bilan and others.
Dmitry Malashenko. Joined the show in the seventh issue. A native of Donetsk, has a musical education. In 2005 he graduated from Kiev University of Theater, after which he was admitted to the theater under the leadership of Roman Viktyuk. He has extensive experience in various enterprises. Nonna Grishaeva. He is rightfully the lead actress of the project. After graduating from the Schukin School, she played a lot in the theater and musicals, starred in commercials. In 2008, she became a permanent member of the “Big Difference”. According to Nonna, her long-time acquaintance and colleague at Dad’s daughters, Alexander Oleshko, helped get into the project. Before the “Big Difference” she participated in the sketch show “Good Jokes” and “Thank God you have come!” In one of the episodes of “Difference”, she played the role of the adult Masha Vasnetsova, while simultaneously starring in “Daddy's Daughters” as her mother. The need for the project was obvious, the audience craved for new releases, the scriptwriters urgently came up with new jokes. The friendly ensemble, formed by this time, was happy to celebrate every victory and anniversary. In his interviews, his actors more than once admitted their love for the show, “Big Difference” for which became the second home for the entire duration of the shooting.
... and an uncertain future
Nevertheless, the ambiguity regarding the program greatly worries the audience. In 2013, the cessation of broadcasting was reported. Six months later, the information was refuted, the show returned to the screens.
A few months later, the broadcast stopped without official explanation. At present, it is not known whether the program has a future. It is obvious that “Big Difference”, actors and roles will remain in the hearts of the audience for a long time as one of the best parody shows of our time.
