In the simplest case, you can simply expand the message completely and use the "Run anyway" item. In the end, well, you don’t want notifications to be issued by the system at every opportunity?
How to disable user account control in Windows 10: standard method
Most users of the tenth version of Windows suggest using the appropriate section, which is located in the standard "Control Panel". This is somewhat inconvenient.
Firstly, the panel itself is not so easy to find in Windows 10, although you can use the Run console and enter the control command. Secondly, in the “Control Panel” you will have to go from section to section for a long time until the necessary tool is found.
Therefore, the easiest decision about how to turn off user account control in Windows 10 is to use RMB on the start button with a search and enter the desired abbreviation (UAC), after which it will be redirected just to the section we need.
In the left part of the settings window there is a special slider, which for complete deactivation of the control tool you just need to rearrange it to the lowest position and save the changes. Only after that, any installed or installed program will have the same access to changing system settings as the administrator. And in the event of penetration of viruses or malicious codes into the system, this is fraught with catastrophic consequences. Here in the HKLM branch you need to find the System directory located in the Policies directory and pay attention to several keys in the right part of the editor.
The simplest solution to how to turn off user account control in Windows 10 is to set this key to 0 when editing the EnableLUA line. However, for a more reasonable permission management, two additional keys should be used. There will be three of them:
- EnableLUA;
- ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin;
- PromptOnSecureDesktop.
For each of them, four variants of values can be set that correspond to the actions performed. Further on the list are all the options:
- permanent notification - 1, 2, 1;
- notification only when trying to change parameters - 1, 5, 1 (by default);
- notification without dimming the screen - 1, 5, 0;
- complete disabling of notifications - 1, 0, 0.
Note that in the last combination, the EnableLUA parameter is set to one, not zero. In combination with the other two keys, this is how it should be. In principle, you can also use the section for setting Group Policy settings (gpedit), which is almost the same, however, actions with the registry when setting such parameters look more preferable, although they completely duplicate the settings for local policies. In addition, changing registry settings has a higher priority than the one set for the policy editor. This is also worth considering. If you make changes in this editor, you can change them in the registry. But now, when initially the relevant parameters are written exactly in the registry, in group policies their change will become impossible (inaccessible).
Command line usage
The problem of how to disable user account control in Windows 10 can also be solved through the command line launched with administrator rights (cmd in the "Run" menu).

Likewise, it is easy to turn off user account control in Windows 10 through the PowerShell console, which, although akin to the command line, has a wider range of features.

And viruses are far from the saddest. After all, if you take into account spyware, even confidential information can suffer. Who will like it if at one “fine” moment the PIN code is stolen from a bank card or money disappears from it? And how many fraudsters are now divorced, who can get a loan for you, but you won’t know about it. Therefore, as they say, vigilance and caution when disabling built-in control services will not hurt (especially when you consider that some installers themselves may contain the installation of components hidden from the user's eyes in the form of the same self-adjusting panels of Internet browsers).
