And then the main part in editing the image and creating a mirror image already begins. This process is not as complicated as it might seem at first glance. How to make a mirror image in Photoshop We proceed to the first stage of work in this program.
First stage. Go to the full screen display of our picture
Before starting the image itself, let's set up the original Photoshop values for working with pictures. By default, the program creates a reflection of the picture in the floating window of your document or in a tab. However, in this case, since we will need to increase the size of the reflection of the picture, it will be much more comfortable to work in Photoshop with an absolute order.
After you have opened your image that you will work on, study the tab along the path "Display - Screen Systems - Full Display" (View - Screen Mode - Full Screen Mode With Menu Bar). In addition, you can change the screen system only once by pressing the "F" button on the keyboard. To return to normal mode, just press the same button one more time.
Stage Two. Clearing a picture of unnecessary items
In the toolbar on the left we find the “Crop Tool” and designate our object, holding the left mouse button for a long time in the picture and dragging it from the upper left to the lower right. Do not forget to press Enter in order to cut out the necessary part of the picture.
Press the key combination Cntrl + J, thus creating a copy of the image. We have another layer. In the panel on the bottom right, you can see all the layers that are already present in Photoshop. Continue on. Now let's change the width of the canvas. At the top, find “Image - Canvas Size”.
Stage Three. Consolidation and expansion
Now merge our two layers using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + E, now we have only one layer. Next, we need to double the height of the canvas in order to create a new place for the mirrored image. Drag the drawing, starting from the top, while holding down the Shift button. Thanks to this key, we get two layers of the picture. Combine them again by holding Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E. At this point, the outer layer is active. Let's rotate it ninety degrees clockwise. To do this, press the key combination Ctrl + T, then click on the left mouse button while it is in the picture. The “Flip 90 degrees clockwise” item appears. Press Enter again to save the change.
Stage Four. Final Turn - Mirroring
We connect all the layers that are currently available. Go to the tab “Correction - Change - Turn” (Edit - Transform - Rotate). Next, in the characteristics panel we set the significance of the angle to 45 degrees. Then press Enter again and save the image.
