Boris Sobolev is the notorious Russian journalist, television journalist and television presenter.
general information
The name of Boris Sobolev has become synonymous with the phrase "sharp plot." His desire to draw the truth even from where it would seem unrealistic to do so is highly appreciated by some, unnoticed by others, and hated by others. This person is not afraid to express his opinion, and, taking this opportunity, he does it in front of a crowd of thousands. Boris Sobolev is not only a reporter, but also a screenwriter, and to some extent a director.
Childhood and early years
Boris Sobolev was born in the capital of Russia - Moscow - on January 1 in 1974. Being a native Muscovite, of course, Sobolev knew the best educational institutions in their widest assortment. But the future journalist already had a clear goal: to enter precisely Moscow State University and precisely where he had long wanted.
From childhood, Boris dreamed of writing about what revives people, about what can show them the real side of the world. That's just the world has many sides: both good and bad. Firm in his intentions, after graduating from a Moscow school, he enters the Moscow State University at the Faculty of Philosophy. After studying for three years at this faculty, Boris finally gets the opportunity to develop further, and in that direction, in which he wanted to. Since 1994, Boris Igorevich Sobolev began working as a journalist on television.
First step to the dream
In 1994, after three courses at Moscow State University, a student was offered a job as a journalist for the television channel "Author's Television." This was the very first experience of a young reporter, and I must say, quite positive. Having the courage to practice a little in communication with other people, and also learning to behave freely in front of the camera lens, Sobolev gets a new job. Now Boris Sobolev is a journalist who daily prepares various, in his opinion, interesting stories for the Press Club television company. There, he gradually rises from the rank-and-file worker up the career ladder and now becomes the main reporter and correspondent for the Vremechko program, which was shown to him on the NTV channel, but with the advent of new personnel they decided to use another channel - as a result, the program was broadcast on TV Center, a not-so-popular channel.
Further cooperation
After the “Vremechko” program, Sobolev was invited to the NTV channel for a long cooperation, where he will then conduct a host of programs. From 1998 to 2001, a special correspondent really settles on the air of this channel: he becomes a reporter in such television programs as “Itogi”, “Vremechko”, “Today”, as well as his famous work “Profession - Reporter”.
In 2012, Boris was transferred to another channel, directly addressing the events in the country - “Russia-1”. There he becomes a regular correspondent for the Vesti program. Soon, his active work on this channel played an important role in the further development of his career. Now Sobolev is admitted to many of the channel’s information programs, and then they completely let him feel like a host in the Examiner program. Such successful projects and reports brought the man the opportunity to participate in the prestigious TEFI television award in 2006. Boris Sobolev (the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company made him the nominee for the victory in the prize) has now become all respected reporter.
From 2008 to 2011, Boris Sobolev became the main host of the Special Correspondent program on the Russia-1 channel. His truthful and in some places harsh reports made a splash on the screens of state television. It is under this program that many people now know who Boris Sobolev is - a journalist who always finds hot material. The theme of his reporting has always been relevant and relevant: he exposed the dens of drug addicts, alcohol mafia, showed the entire back of the country's corrupt universities, not being afraid of the serious ties of the people working there.
Scandalous reporting
One of the most scandalous reports in the field of Russian education can rightfully be considered a message about corruption within the walls of the famous Pirogov RNIMU. In 2012, a small video shot on a hidden camera in this educational institution was shown on the screens of all the country's TVs in the Vesti program. The shooting took place during the defense by one student of his diploma, and this protection took place in rather strange conditions: instead of directly presenting his work, the student, through an intermediary, started talking about buying his diploma with one of the main professors at the university, Nikolai Kostyukov, who at the time of the shooting was not simply respected throughout the country, but also had 40 years of experience in the university. The report at that time exploded in a real scandal: on the one hand, there were threats emanating from the university, on the other hand there were indignant and angry reviews from the parents of the students, and all Russian schoolchildren planning to go there after secondary school.
The situation was even more aggravated by the revelation of the same university in history with the enrollment of students, which is now called "Scam with Dead Souls." Ironically, the university exactly repeated the fraud of the famous hero N.V. Gogol Chichikov: a large amount of fake evidence of enrollment in university departments was presented in the university documentation, and almost 90% of people probably did not hear about this educational institution. Thus, the university tried to open the way for "their" people, while closing it in front of honest students.
Interview with Inna Zhirkova
Another explosive work by Boris Sobolev is dedicated to the victory purchased by the wife of the famous football player Yuri Zhirkov in the competition "Mrs. Russia 2012". The disclosure was compiled without resorting to hidden cameras or other maneuvers: all that was filmed was a charming girl answering questions, and the correspondent Sobolev himself, asking her about the contest and asking basic questions.
As part of the beauty contest “Mrs. Russia-2012”, participants were invited to prove themselves in a variety of fields, from raising children to their creative abilities. In that interview, Inna Zhirkova needed to answer the simplest questions from just these areas: to name the name of a children's writer, to cite well-known facts from geography, to name authors of musical works whose names were already included in the name ... However, the girl could not cope with any of the questions , thus showing that she won this contest not at all for talents, but for her husband’s thick wallet.
In a word, Sobolev’s report made a real sensation, and in a very bad light showed the “incorruptible” celebrities of the country who sat on the jury.
Testing yourself as a director
In 2012, Boris Sobolev began to appear less and less in news programs, but literally a year later his work as a documentary filmmaker appeared on the screens. Boris Sobolev's film “Crowned Individuals” tells just about such “deserved” victories of Russian beauties, which really cost a lot of money. The plot of this documentary includes fragments of negotiations with real people - organizers of competitions, participants and the jury.
If we talk about Sobolev as a director, then you can not help but consider his book, and then the film made on it, entitled "The assault will be expensive." In the work, the author tells of the Caucasian War of 1817-1864. This war became the longest on the territory of Russia, and its entire history is entangled in omissions, unknown facts and intrigues ...
Current activity
At the moment, Boris Sobolev remains one of the most respected correspondents, who, not being afraid of anyone’s money and connections, continues to bring forth unpleasant events and situations in our country. Boris Sobolev, whose personal life is his reports, highly appreciated by ordinary people, speaks openly about such things that others are generally afraid to mention.
To this day, he is engaged in shooting sharp documentary scenes, and who knows: maybe this year his next scandalous sensation will come out, telling about what everyone usually is silent about.
