Spring is a wonderful time of the year, but sometimes vitamin deficiency interferes with it. What vitamins are better to take in the spring? Is it worth giving preference to ready-made drugs, or is it better to get the necessary vitamins from food? These questions are always relevant in the spring, regardless of whether a person has a lack of vitamins or not.

If hypovitaminosis makes itself felt, then no adjustment of the diet can be eliminated. The same thing is with a lack of minerals, in particular calcium or iron: no matter how much we eat foods containing them, and their level in the body can not be significantly increased. Some vitamins and minerals are even more complicated: foods with a high content are absorbed only in small quantities, for example, meat rich in iron, no matter how much we eat, is absorbed only in the amount of about a hundred grams, and the rest is excreted, otherwise and linger in the form of slag. All this suggests that no diet will help restore the disturbed balance of nutrients, and in addition to adjusting the diet, you still have to take vitamin complexes.

What vitamins are better to take when in pharmacies such a variety of different drugs? On the one hand, it is better to give preference to vitamin-mineral complexes, but on the other hand, some biologically active substances interfere with the assimilation of each other, and taking them together at a time is not entirely advisable. Of course, today there are also such complexes in which the compatibility of substances is thought out, but you can do otherwise - choose a few simpler drugs and take them separately. Which vitamins are best taken by each specific person will be determined by a doctor, preferably based on laboratory tests. This will help not only to achieve the greatest effectiveness of the preparations, but also to avoid an excess of certain vitamins, as complex vitamin complexes may contain substances that you do not need at all, and an excess is as bad as a lack. For the same reason, do not take vitamins all the time: usually the package is designed for the course, and it should be limited.

It is also worth paying attention to what vitamins to drink in the spring for one or another person. For example, there are children's vitamins, vitamins for women, a special group for pregnant women, vitamins for the elderly: in principle, if their manufacturer is a serious and well-known organization, you can be guided by their purpose indicated on the package.

However, one should not buy stories about their incredible and miraculous properties, on the basis of which dishonest citizens try to get more than one thousand rubles for such drugs.
