The next step will be finding the column "Style" that we need. And it is located in the "Home" tab on the very right side. In it, click the arrow in the lower right corner to open a menu in which you need to select the third button at the bottom of the account - a settings window will open in which you need to go to the "Default" tab. In it, find the "Interval" area. In it you can insert the values you need. There are no tips, since everyone has their own preferences. The main thing - as soon as you finish the setup, check the box "In new documents using this template." After that, you can safely click "OK" - the interval in the "Word" will be changed.
Method for Latest Versions
The second way, how to make the interval in the “Word” larger or smaller, is practically no different from the first. You will only need to go into other settings. And they themselves are no different from the previous ones. So now we’ll look at where you need to look for these settings.
Create a new Word document as well and now pay attention to the “Paragraph” column on the toolbar. There, also click the arrow in the lower right corner - a window appears with the settings we need.
Set the interval you need, but do not rush to click the "OK" button. Click "Default." A window will appear before you with a choice - select "All documents based on the Normal template". This is necessary so that when creating a new document, the interval in Word remains the default one you set.
