From the history

For such grandiose productions, the concert and reception halls were completely refitted, and special equipment for light and sound was installed. MDM structure
The Moscow Youth Palace is a wonderful example of a modernist, futuristic building. The project was created under the guidance of architect Y. Belopolsky and N. Vasiliev. The facades are decorated with a colonnade and stairs, which are made in a modernist style, without anything superfluous. The openings of the colonnade are decorated with mosaics on Soviet subjects. The main building consists of two main halls: large and parquet. The Great Hall is the property of MDM. The stage covers an area of 300 m2 along with lighting equipment and stage equipment, while the Backstage covers an area of 450 m2. The largest part of the large hall of the MDM theater is the stalls. Its outline is also available for viewing. The total volume of seats is 1,800 units. The viewing platform includes a special box for VIP-clients for 15 people. The parquet hall, designed for ceremonies, has a maximum area of 1,200 m2. It is equipped with all necessary lighting and sound equipment. The dance area of the parquet hall has an area of 470 m2. The restaurant department can accommodate more than 200 people. Also, the parquet hall has its own wardrobe for 1,800 people. A specialized wardrobe has 500 seats. Large and parquet halls can be used at the request of the customer, both together and separately.
