The Novokuznetsk drama theater has existed for over 80 years. His repertoire is diverse. It includes productions for both adults and children. The theater has wonderful artists.
History
The Drama Theater (Novokuznetsk), the photo of which is presented in this article, was founded in the 30s of the twentieth century. It was a difficult pre-war time. The official opening date of the theater is November 6, 1933. A building was specially built for him. The repertoire of that time consisted of immortal works. During the Second World War, the Novokuznetsk drama theater received troupes from other cities of Russia, as well as from Ukraine, on its stage.
In 1963, a new building was built for the theater. It was decorated with bas-reliefs, a colonnade, paintings, panels. The hall is designed for 600 seats. In this building the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater is located to this day.
The twenty-first century began for the theater with a change of leadership. The main director was S. Boldyrev. Thanks to him, the theater began to search for new things and experiment. Classical performances were staged in a new reading. Hamlet staged by the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater became a scandalous project.
From 2006 to 2010, the building was closed for reconstruction. His rebirth took place. Today the theater is equipped with the latest technology. The repertoire has more interesting productions. The tour resumed. The theater takes an active part in festivals and receives awards. The repertoire has become more diverse and interesting. Various projects are being implemented. The theater is developing rapidly. The literary part of the theater is led by Galina Ganeeva.

Rules for visiting the theater
The Novokuznetsk Drama Theater offers its viewers the following rules that must be observed when visiting performances:
- Each spectator must have a ticket with him, except for children under three years of age.

- Late spectators are accommodated in free chairs on the balconies, and only at intermission will they be able to transfer to their seats so as not to disturb other viewers.

- In the theater, as well as in the territory adjacent to it, smoking is prohibited.
