The implementation of 1C programs without a specific goal is unlikely to bring benefits to the enterprise. Implementers must clearly understand what goal they have to achieve, what problems to solve. Otherwise, the company will waste the budget. If you, as the head of the enterprise, do not understand the goals of introducing 1C Enterprise 8.3 or any other automated system, consider the possibility of the usual installation of programs.
Goal setting is an important implementation phase. Who should set a goal? Better if the head of the enterprise does it. He, like no one else, sees the problem areas of his business, understands what needs to be improved and what needs to be modified or modified.
So what distinguishes the right goal from the wrong?
First, the goal should answer the question: what does the customer want to get as a result? Answering it is important. This will allow the implementers to understand what is required of them, and to avoid the disappointment of the leader in the long run ("but I thought that such and such a problem would be solved ...").
Secondly, the correct goal is outside the "1C". What does it mean? She should explain what needs to be improved in the enterprise as a whole, and not in a separate program. For example, the goal “to have more analytics” is not correct. This is not a goal, but rather one of the means to achieve it.
Thirdly, the correct goal is easy to measure and then compare how it was before and how it became after implementation. If the goal of automation was to increase the throughput of the sales department, then you can measure the number of calls received from customers, their average duration, the number of visits to the Internet account, etc. Based on these data, it will be possible to conclude whether the throughput has increased, whether 1C 8 introduction of a positive effect.
The fourth difference between the correct goal - it can be converted into rubles. For example, you can calculate how much it costs to organize one workplace in the sales department, how much the company's income has grown after automation, etc. The difference between the income and expenses incurred can be compared with the implementation cost. Of course, it will not pay off right away, it takes time. But to calculate everything in rubles is very important - this will allow you to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of implementation.
Fifth difference - the goal should contain answers to specific questions: how to increase profits, reduce costs? How to avoid additional costs? How can I improve the manageability of the enterprise, transparency of accounting?
Examples of correct goals:
- Suppression of not profitable, economically unjustified purchases;
- Automatic reservation upon receipt of urgent orders;
- Reduction of returnable waste and optimization of material consumption;
- Establishment of product quality control and many others
Beautifully formulating a goal is not your task. All you need to know when preparing for a meeting with the implementers is what you would like to improve at your enterprise, what problems to solve. Together with the employees and specialists of the franchisee company, you will develop the right goal, which you will strive for as a whole working group.
