Vladimir Nesterov was born on October 7, 1960 in the village of Anaevo in the Republic of Mordovia.

After school, Vladimir Nesterov firmly decided to become a journalist and entered the Faculty of Philology at Mordovia State University, which he successfully graduated in 1987.
