From November 20 to 24 of the current year, the event Furniture-2017 was held in Moscow. The twenty-ninth international exhibition of accessories and furniture is one of the largest in both Russia and Eastern Europe. Every year, this event becomes a major event in the furniture market. A furniture exhibition was held in Moscow at the Expocenter. Leading brands and interior designers not only showcase their new collections and samples of furniture, but also reveal the secrets of effective business management and business development. The total exhibition area was 78,000 square meters.
The layout of the halls consists of eight thematic zones:

This event was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as the Chamber of Commerce.
Furniture exhibition in Moscow 2017: participants of the event
Most of the exhibitors were domestic manufacturers - about 630 representatives. Collective exhibitors were represented by such regions as the Ulyanovsk, Kostroma and Kirov regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Mari El and Udmurtia. The exhibition also featured national expositions of South Korea and Germany. The event also brought together more than 40,000 specialists from Russia and the countries of the independent community, as well as from far and near abroad. In total, the exhibition was attended by 767 exhibitors from 28 countries, which shows the scale of the event.
Furniture exhibition at Crocus Expo
Another major exhibition in the fall of 2017 was the Fifth International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for Woodworking and Furniture Production Woodex 2017. A furniture exhibition was held in Moscow at Crocus Expo from November 14 to 17. This event was attended by more than three hundred companies from 22 world powers. In just 4 days, visitors to the exhibition saw a variety of furniture equipment, and also talked with its manufacturers. Thanks to this, everyone could directly ask a question to one of the specialists of the represented company. The furniture exhibition in Moscow at Crocus Expo had at its disposal a site measuring 20,000 square meters. This area is as much as 30% larger than at the previous exhibition, held in 2015.
In addition to Russian manufacturers, the event was attended by countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey and China. The organizer of the exhibition was the leading exhibition services company ITE, which is quite popular in Russia. The key event of the furniture exhibition in Moscow was an international conference entitled “Window to the future of woodworking. Technology 20.19. " Experts in this market spoke in detail about innovative developments in the field of woodworking. Speakers from around the world discussed new solutions for the industry in the market.
I Saloni WorldWide Moscow
2017 was rich in major furniture exhibitions in Moscow. The I Saloni WorldWide Moscow event, which took place from October 11 to October 14 in the Crocus Expo exhibition hall, was no exception. About 260 enterprises took part in it. This year, more than 30,000 people visited the exhibition, including representatives of various organizational structures, as well as press officers.
Students and graduates of famous design schools located both in Russia and in the CIS countries had a unique chance to present their project. The winners of this competition will be able to get an opportunity to go to the exhibition in Milan in 2018. Also, various master classes from leading experts in the furniture industry were given as part of the event.
