Under certain conditions, legislation in most countries allows employers to increase working hours. Our state is no exception. overtime pay
Overtime is paid this way: the first two extra hours are paid one and a half times, and all the rest are double. It is usually not included in the base amount for calculating premiums, since most often there is no point in including it there. At the request of the employee, overtime pay may be replaced by an increase in rest time. For example, if he worked on a day off, then he can choose some other day for rest. In this case, overtime payment is provided single. These provisions are based on Art. 152 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. On weekends or holidays , workers are paid at least twice the salary, and employees receiving an official salary receive at least a single rate - hourly or daily, depending on the time of work. These norms are established by article 153 of the Labor Code.

The amount in which overtime hours will be paid can be established by a collective or individual labor agreement (or some other normative document) drawn up taking into account the views of the representative body of workers. The same applies to people engaged in creative activities. In particular, this applies to workers in the theater, cinema or the media, as well as persons creating or exhibiting works of art.
