One of the most famous American writers of the nineteenth century is Edgar Poe. “The Frog” (a brief summary of the work is the subject of this review) is a story that in a somewhat fabulous form tells the story of a rather dramatic story that happened in one kingdom. This little story is somewhat reminiscent of the famous play by V. Hugo about a jester who suffered from power. This plot is better known thanks to Verdi's opera Rigoletto, in which the main character brutally avenges his offenders.

Wanting to have fun, the king ordered the dwarf to drink wine, knowing that he could not tolerate alcohol. Seeing such a humiliation of a friend, the girl tried to intercede for him, but the king threw her wine right in the face, which caused a great anger of the jester.
Climax
Edgar Poe built his works on a very simple, but extremely dynamic composition. "The Frog" (the brief content of the book should include a detailed retelling of the incident at the holiday) is a work that is dedicated to the idea of ​​a little man's revolt against injustice. Having come to his senses a bit after the wine, the jester conceived a terrible joke: he invited all those present to dress up as orangutans and continue the fun. Choosing a convenient moment, he hung them on a chain and set fire, after which he disappeared with Tripletta. So, the main characters in this story are representatives of the social lower classes. “The Frog” (Edgar Allan Poe, the author of the work, focused on their protest) is a book that is recommended for students to read at school in foreign literature classes.
