"Stagecoach" is a theater in Tolyatti, which was founded as an amateur 25 years ago. At the origins of this case was Tatyana Vdovichenko, who at one time was the director of the theater, and now works as a stage director at the Moscow Provincial Theater. Also, this merit can be attributed to Irina Mironova, in the past - to a theater teacher, and now the director of the Youth Theater "Stagecoach".
It is difficult to say how many actors were in the state at the time of the opening, but it is known for certain that until 2001 all the artists studied under Zinovy ​​Korogodsky, a professor and people's artist of the USSR. Theater "Stagecoach" in Togliatti already then entered the rank of the most serious regarding the quality of the cast. 25 years after the opening, the theater staged over 60 different plays and plays for all age categories. A special style and creative approach are preserved in the modern Stagecoach.

For 16 years, the theater’s creative team has staged over 20 productions every year. The Stagecoach Theater is called the repertoire, it works with a fixed list of performances.
2008 was significant for the history of the theater, then Viktor Martynov, a talented director and master of acting, was appointed as artistic director. And just 4 years later, Stagecoach received the status of the Theater of Young Spectators. The event was also marked by the fact that the theater itself moved to a new address.
To date, 20 actors, the age of which varies from 18 to 40 years, are working on the stage of the Stagecoach Youth Theater. The overwhelming majority of actors have a director's education, which undoubtedly helps them to more widely perceive what is happening on stage. There is no need to talk about how wide the genre diversity of the repertoire is. On the posters of the modern theater "Stagecoach" you can find announcements of various children's and adult musicals, comedies and tragedies of a social nature.
Promising projects and outreach
The theater provides an opportunity for each actor to prove himself: since 2009, on the basis of the Stagecoach, the festival “Premiere of one rehearsal” has been held, during which each actor can act as a director and stage his own production with the participation of his colleagues.
Today, the Stagecoach Theater has many goals for the development of the cultural environment in the city. Of course, the team is working not only on the development of a large number of types of theatrical art, but also on their propaganda in order to satisfy the aesthetic needs of the population. The atmosphere of creativity favorably affects the development of humanism and the spiritual growth of the individual. The theater is also fighting to ensure that the traditions of the theater repertoire are preserved and all the necessary conditions are created for a favorable rest for the residents of the city. At the same time, the theater team itself does not forget about its professional growth, as evidenced by the many years of high level of presentation of material on the stage.
From record holders to theatrical marathon to laureates of international festivals
Stagecoach - the theater in Tolyatti - also set a record: in 37 hours, the actors showed 16 productions on stage in a row, without a break. This theatrical marathon was noted in the “Book of Records of Russia” (2013). Then many vivid performances were shown, among which I would like to highlight the productions of “Journey to the Emerald City” and “Running around the Horse”, as well as the comedy “The Servant of Two Masters”. Later, the performance received the "Grand Prix" at the All-Russian Theater Festival.
In the fall of 2014, the cast of the theater represented the Samara region in the "House of Actor" in Moscow. Then the Stagecoach Theater of Young Spectators staged 3 of their biggest premieres. These are productions based on the works of Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov “Hero of Our Time”, Vladimir Orlov “The Golden Chicken” and “Mary Poppins” by Pamela Travers. It is worth mentioning the production in the genre of metamorphosis "Transformation", the achievements of which make one admire: 3 awards of the Samara Theater Muse festival, the title of the best performance at Theaterromagiya-2014 - Samara International Festival.
It’s impossible to pass by a poster
The Stagecoach Theater in Tolyatti was included in the Russian Book of Honor. Later, the director L. Dmitriev directed the drama "The Night After the Release" (by V. Tendryakov). The performance immediately received the title "Premiere of the Year."
"Stagecoach" could not miss a significant event for Russia in 2015 - the 70th anniversary of the victorious end of the Second World War. On this occasion, in April, the premiere of “First. Our". The play was written according to the story of B. Okudzhava. The production was directed by V. Martynov, and later he also directed The Tale of Ivan the Peasant Son, Beloved Beauty and Koschey the Immortal.
It is impossible to go past the pieces of “Scaffold” by the director U. Zubarev, “The Evil Performance”, otherwise called “... It would be better for this person not to be born”, directed by P. Zubarev and “For Far-off the Grounds” directed by V. Martynov in Russian fabulous folklore.

Theater victories do not end there. For example, P. Zubarev received the nomination "Best Actor" at the International Festival. F.M.Dostoevsky. He also received the prize of the festival of regional scale “Samara Theater Muse”. The jury noted his performance as the Schoolboy in the production of “First. Our". The directors themselves did not go unnoticed either: they were not spared by the award for a special approach and interpretation of the novel “Scaffold”, for which the performance of the same name became a laureate of the 1st degree at the festival “Theater Magic”. A year later, a play for children based on the tale of Jan Olaf Ekholm “Ludwig the Fourteenth and Tutta Karlsson” was shown. According to many residents of the city, the best theater in Tolyatti is "Stagecoach". The poster is constantly replenished with new performances.
The 25th theater season is closed. He was remembered by such performances as “The King Funs” by V. Hugo, “The Return of Peter Pan” by J. Barry, “Transformation” by F. Kafka and “Vienna Chair” by N. Kolyada. The continuation and the new season starts in September 2017. For "Stagecoach" the new season will be anniversary: ​​the theater turns 25 years old!
