How to activate Kaspersky? Three activation methods

Everyone who is worried about the safety of data on their computer must use computer virus protection programs. Unfortunately, the realities of the modern Internet are such that without an effective antivirus solution it is better to refuse to visit the vast majority of sites. It is believed that if you go only to trusted resources, then you can do without an antivirus. This statement is only partially true. You can pick up a malicious program even when checking e-mail, not to mention open network ports on your computer.

The actions of viruses are different: some are limited to displaying comic messages; others steal user passwords in one way or another (not to social networks, but to bank cards); still others install a resident module, creating a “botnet” cell from a computer, etc. There is only one recommendation: you cannot fully use a computer without anti-virus protection.

Among a large number of different anti-virus applications, Kaspersky Lab products occupy a special place. It’s all about how to implement protection. The popular Dr.Web, Avira, Nod32 and many other complex anti-virus programs display a dialog when a threat is detected (on disk or network), prompting the user to select the desired action (block, allow, delete), which puts newcomers in a hopeless position. A beginner simply cannot know whether he needs, for example, a svchost file or not. But Kaspersky makes the decision in automatic mode, and errors rarely occur. Therefore, the popularity of this antivirus and the reason for the question how to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus are understandable. In fact, there is nothing complicated about this.

If it is not clear how to activate Kaspersky, then you can immediately proceed to the developer's website, where the procedure for explaining screenshots is given and follow them. But more often you have to figure it out yourself.

There are two ways to activate Kaspersky. The first assumes the presence of an activation code (a block of numbers, purchased independently or together with the product) - this is a commercial version. The second is a free (trial) method, which makes it possible to fully use the antivirus for 30 days. It is worth noting that beta versions last 90 days each. How to activate Kaspersky will be understood even by a user with no computer experience. The main thing is the availability of an Internet connection. A wizard window appears immediately after installing the product.

When activating the commercial version, after entering the activation code, the program sends a request to the developer's server, downloads and installs the corresponding key file (key), designed for a certain period of work and the number of machines. How to activate Kaspersky if there is no code? Very simple! There is a “buy code” link in the activation window, so there are no problems at this stage. If you need to enter the code after installation, open the main program window (double-click on the icon in the taskbar) and select the link “enter activation code”. The cost of a license for 1 year (2 cars) is quite affordable, unless, of course, the user decides to use alternative free antiviruses.

In the second case, everything is made even simpler: the checkbox “activate trial version” is checked and the “next” button is clicked. In response, the server sends and installs the key file for 30 days. Kaspersky, the activation of which was successful, is fully functional.

There is also a third way, pirated. You can download a key file from the Internet and install it in the program. Disadvantage: such keys are often blocked, and conscience can torment. Alternatively, with a special program, you need to reset the counter once a month, receiving another 30 days of the trial period. We will not consider pirated methods in detail.
