There is no need to talk about the quality of the goods; a good speaker system is expensive. Do-it-yourself speakers even in the conditions of your own apartment, choosing their shape for your interior design. This event will cost much less than buying a new sophisticated speaker system. The advantages of a home-made device are that you can calculate the maximum load for the amplifier and choose the appropriate speakers for power.

If you like good sound and are looking for speakers for use in an apartment or a private house, you do not need to save on an amplifier.
The ideal option, in my opinion, are tube amplifiers. They perfectly cope with their task and amplify the signal from an intermediate amplifier without distortion. We select the speakers so that their total power exceeds the power of the amplifier itself. This will save them from premature failure. The main thing is that it freely transmits sound, and in design matches the interior of the speaker itself. Now we glue the entire column with dermatin and solder already installed speakers in parallel. Ring the input impedance of the speaker with an ohmmeter. If everything is normal, start the test by connecting it to the amplifier.
By the same principle, you can assemble the speakers for the phone with your own hands, of course, in this case there is no need to choose high-power speakers.
