Anapa Vityazevo Airport is located 15 km from the central part of the city and at a distance of about 5 km from the railway station. It is considered an international airport of federal importance. The largest air hub in the south of the state, one of the twenty most important airports in the Russian Federation. It serves cities such as Temryuk, Novorossiysk and Anapa children's resorts, whose tourist flow is about 3 million people per year. The reconstruction of the airport, which is currently underway, is dedicated to the Winter Olympic Games. Vityazevo can be used as a backup airport for guests of such a large-scale event.
