The phenomenon of such thematic films can be discussed endlessly. They suddenly broke into television screens and were so loved by the viewer that the directors began to stamp them in huge numbers. Of course, the quality of some of them is poor. But the series about doctors, the list of which is presented in this article, definitely differs from the total mass.
In Russia, the love of medicine on television emerged in 1999, after the show "Ambulance", which had been in the US for five years and was considered the best in its genre. Prior to this, in our country, the medical theme was addressed only a couple of times in several serial television films. But hardly anyone will remember the "Days of the Surgeon Mishkin", where he played the brilliant Oleg Efremov or the nine-part film "Open Book". The topic was not in demand then, but now every Russian TV channel is proud to have released the next series about doctors. The Russian viewer began his acquaintance with the film works of the Americans.
"Ambulance"
The series was released in 1994. Its creator was Michael Crichton, who himself worked as a doctor in the ward. Actually, the idea was based on the life experience of the producer.
Not a single television company wanted to tackle the series about doctors. Foreign producers also did not show a desire to take up production. Thus, the idea and almost completely written script lay on the shelf for more than ten years. The production center was given by the production center of S. Spielberg, who shot the pilot series. Its actual name, Grey's Anatomy, is a pun. The creator of the series, Shonda Rimes, draws an analogy with the famous textbook - "Anatomy of Gray" and the name of the main character - Meredith Gray.
The telenovela was not created as typical series about doctors. Since 2005, foreign viewers have watched the history of strong women who had to endure a lot, not only professionally, but also in love.
Now they are shooting the twelfth season. An interesting feature of the series is that each season ends with a tragedy (shooting in a hospital, a plane crash, the death of the main characters). Fans of the series do not like S. Rimes for the dramatic departure of their favorite characters. Throughout all seasons, three love lines develop (Turk and Espinosa, Cox and Jordan, Elliot Reed and JD). Among the invited stars that appeared on the series were Courtney Cox, Ryan Reynolds, Colin Farrell, Mandy Moore and others.
"Dr. House"
The protagonist of the series, awarded the Emmy and Peabody Prizes, was the sarcastic and tactless Dr. House. He does not look like his colleagues, either externally or internally. The features of his behavior are explained by the fact that House sits firmly on the narcotic substance Vicodin. He has been taking it for many years to drown out terrible pains in his leg, because of which he has to move with a cane.

And the main character, Dr. Bykov, very much resembles Dr. House with his causticity, and sometimes rudeness. Both of them crashed on a motorcycle. In one of the series, the Bulls walks with a cane.
There are other references to this series. For example, intern Levin is leaving for an internship at a fictitious clinic where House works.
The creator of the series is a member of the KVN team and a graduate of the Chelyabinsk Medical Academy, Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov. He also became the screenwriter of the serial film "I Fly" about medical trainees.
"Sklifosovsky"
The series, released in 2012, gathered a large audience at the screens. It tells about the work and life of employees of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.
Actor Maxim Averin, who played the main role, appeared shortly before the release of the television movie in Interns. His hero (cameo) was preparing for the shootings in the medical series and wanted to watch the work of Dr. Bykov.
The television series is very dynamic, because it tells about the everyday life of Sklif. There are no planned operations, all patients are emergency. A brilliant surgeon Oleg Bragin (the main character) is courageously fighting for their life. He is a doctor from God. In his professional activity, everything is going fine, and his personal life is marred by divorce. Bragin - Casanova. This becomes the cause of all his troubles.
