JSC IrAero Airlines is a Russian company, founded in 1999. The company's main field of activity is cargo and passenger air transportation from the cities of Siberia and the Far East to the regions of Russia, as well as neighboring and far abroad countries. Base airports are Magadan, Novosibirsk and Yakutsk.
History of IrAero Airlines
The company was established in 1999. Then the fleet consisted of only two domestic An-24 aircraft, which were leased. From that moment, the fleet began to constantly replenish and now has more than 20 aircraft. The company entered the Russian air transportation market by April 2006.
In 2011, the Rosaviatsiya agency compiled a rating of the most punctual Russian carriers, the top ten of which included IrAero. In 2013, the airline concluded an agreement for the supply of the latest Russian aircraft of the MS-21 type with the Irkut enterprise. Aircraft deliveries will begin in 2019.
Since 2014, the company has introduced a system of "Web check-in" for passengers. In addition to air transportation, IrAero is involved in aerial photography and search and rescue activities on its aircraft.

The fleet of the airline is represented by 25 aircraft of the following types:
- 9 An-24 units for 44-48 passenger seats;
- 8 An-24 units for 42 passenger seats;
- 5 CRJ-200 units for 50 passenger seats;
- 3 units of “Sukhoi Superjet 100” for 95 passenger seats.
The fleet is relatively outdated, but there have never been any accidents or disasters in the history of the enterprise. The company's management is actively engaged in the problem of modernizing the fleet. Until 2022, it will be replenished with 10 MS-21 aircraft.

In 2012, IrAero (airline) carried about 200 thousand passengers, which is 130% more than in 2010, and delivered 126% more cargo in comparison with 2011. In 2012, more than 6,800 flights were operated.
In 2013, more than 200 thousand air passengers were transported, as well as 331,390 tons of cargo and mail.
In 2014, from the beginning of the year to September, more than 50,000 passengers were transported, more than 2,000 tons of mail and cargo were delivered, and more than 7,000 regular and seasonal flights were carried out.
Over the 17 years of operation of the enterprise, the geography of flights has expanded significantly. Transportation from base airports is carried out to the following points:
- To China - Dalian, Manchuria, Hailar, Harbin, Jiamusi;
- To the CIS countries - Baku, Bishkek, Tashkent;
- In Russia - Anapa, Batagai, Belaya Gora, Blagoveshchensk, Bodaibo, Vladivostok, Gelendzhik, Deputatsky, Yekaterinburg, Keperway, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Lensk, Moma, Nizhnevartovsk, Novy Urengoy, Noyabrsk, Omolon, Omsk, Omsukchan Don, Rostov , Sakkyryr, Samara, Saskylakh, Seymchan, Sochi, Suntar, Ulan-Ude, Ust-May, Khabarovsk, Chita, Chokurdah, Evensk.
Social politics
IrAero is an airline that regularly conducts various contests and charity events. Pupils of orphanages, shelters and centers of social adaptation are always invited to attend them. For children, interesting excursions are regularly organized at the international airport of Irkutsk, drawing contests, various sports competitions are held. The carrier also actively interacts with the MIRaero charity children's fund.
On a quarterly basis, the company publishes its own in-flight magazines MIRaero. Over the years of its existence, the company has established itself as a punctual air carrier. Undoubtedly, there are pros and cons in the work. The main disadvantage of IrAero is the relatively old fleet. However, in the near future it will be significantly updated. The management of the airline continuously works to improve the quality of services provided and expand the route network.
