If this function is deactivated, the program will minimize the use of the sound device and its drivers when minimizing, which means that there will be no sound in any other application (be it a media player or the same browser). In the address bar, enter chrome: // plugins and in the upper right corner click on the "Details" hyperlink. Here you need to find the item pointing to the pepflashplayer.dll dynamic library and disable its use. If a sound appears, then the problem is in this plugin.

There can be two options: “Turn off sound on all tabs” and “Turn on sound on all tabs”. It is clear that if the second option is displayed in the setting itself, then the use of sound by the browser is simply disabled.
