Tatyana Terekhova was born in 1952 in the city of Leningrad. The tendency to dance appeared from early childhood. In 1970 she graduated from the choreographic school. A. Vaganova. The teacher and mentor was Shiripina Elena.
After graduation, Tatyana Gennadyevna Terekhova was lucky to get into the troupe of the Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Leningrad. In 1977, in Moscow, and in 1984, in Osaka, she was a laureate of ballet art contests. These awards gave the dancer even more confidence.
Life on stage
Tatyana Terekhova was not easily given flexibility exercises and techniques, but the young ballerina was not afraid of difficulties, she worked with her mentor on leading parties. As they say, "sculpted" itself consistently, gradually expanding its capabilities.
She was recognized as a powerful ballerina of the ballet school of Leningrad Academicism. But not always, everything was smooth in the artist’s work.
