The history of the opening of the theater
Drum Tolstoy Theater (Lipetsk) was opened in 1921. Its organizer was Evgeny Nikolaevich Lavrov. He was a graduate of GITIS - Department of Philology. It was E. Lavrov who assembled the first troupe in the city. The opening of the theater took place on June 5. On this day, the play “Savva” based on the play by L. Andreev was shown. Originally a drum. Festivals
