Analysis of the lines of Tatyana's letter

You can describe a person in words, indicating his appearance, character, habits, or you can provide the reader with the opportunity to independently draw in his imagination an image based on the behavior of the hero, his feelings. A. Pushkin made Tatyana’s letter to Onegin very soulful, honest and open. The epistolary genre helped the poet convey to the reader the feelings and thoughts of the heroine. It should be noted that the letter was written by a young county lady who had to step over not only through her complexes and fears, but also through moral prohibitions. In the XIX century, it was not worth the girl the first to confess her love to a man, but Tatiana was ready to neglect the rules, even if in return she received contempt.

Pushkin divided Tatyana’s letter to Onegin into several parts. At first, the girl writes about her risk and how the addressee should perceive this message. Then comes the alternative: “When I had hope ...”, that is, Tatyana draws in her imagination what could be, and these dreams shade real pictures. In the third part there is a reflection: “Why did you visit us?” The young lady is aware of the difficult female fate, but such statements are more suitable for an adult rather than a young person, therefore, the author’s handwriting is clearly traced here.

Pushkin Eugene Onegin Tatyana's letter
To show the emotional suffering of his heroes, their difficult fate and rebirth, Pushkin wrote "Eugene Onegin." Tatyana’s letter contains a large fragment where she goes to “you,” but she most likely does not address the real Yevgeny Onegin, but the hero of her dreams, whom she has long been familiar with and close to. Then the girl in her mind combines two images: fictional and real. She also addresses Onegin with “you”: “From now on, I will hand my fate to you ...”

Pushkin filled Tatyana’s letter with Onegin with drama. The girl told about her feelings, stepping over moral principles. After reading the message, Onegin can imagine the situation, understand the position of the young lady, and take something. The last four lines summarize, and they end with the theme of the introduction. Tatyana, as if descending from heaven to earth, recalls reality and again addresses her lover to “you”. She realizes the riskiness of her enterprise, but trusts the honor of Eugene.
