Nadezhda Pavlova - ballerina, teacher and choreographer. This outstanding woman was born in the city of Cheboksary. In 1984, she became People's Artist of the Soviet Union.

Nadezhda Pavlova was born in a large family of ethnic Chuvash. Her father, Vasily Pavlovich, was an X-ray technician, and her mother, Maria Ilyinichna, worked as a teacher in a kindergarten. The ballerina's date of birth is May 15, 1956. At the age of 7, she began to attend a circle at the House of Pioneers Nadezhda Pavlova. Children studied choreography here. In 1966, a commission from the Perm Choreographic School arrived in Cheboksary . They were looking for gifted children. Members of the commission noticed Nadia and suggested that she study at the Perm School. Parents released Nadia. Her teacher was Lyudmila Pavlovna Sakharova, whose teaching methodology was based on a combination of classical Leningrad and Moscow schools with trends that arose in the 60s of the 20th century.

During training at the choreographic school, the girl took part in the performances of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. She performed all the children's ballet parts there. In 1970, the troupe went on tour in Moscow. There, Nadezhda attracted the attention of reviewers. At the age of 15, the young ballerina became the winner of the first prize at the All-Union Ballet Competition. And a year later she won the grand prix. Then the young ballerina often began touring in Russia and foreign countries: France, Italy, the USA, China, Germany, Japan and Austria.

The career of the artist developed successfully. Nadezhda Pavlova devoted herself to the ballet. Her personal life was not as rosy as creative. Hope's stage partner, Vyacheslav Gordeev, became her first husband. Everyone thought their marriage would be perfect. But Vyacheslav, becoming the husband of Nadezhda, continued to see in her, first of all, his dance partner, and not his beloved woman and wife. He made her work more and more, because of which she began to feel like a robot, not a person. Vyacheslav constantly let her know that she owed him her successful career. This attitude of the spouse could not but affect the psyche of the ballerina, she often began to become depressed. Then V. Gordeev took her to a very good psychotherapist - Konstantin Okulevich. Since then, the artist’s personal life has changed dramatically. The doctor and the ballerina fell in love. Their tumultuous romance turned into marriage. Having issued a divorce from V. Gordeev, Nadezhda married K. Okulevich.

After graduating from the choreographic school, Nadezhda Pavlova became the soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater named after Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Here she danced leading roles in ballets such as Romeo and Juliet and Giselle. A year later, Nadezhda became a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. Vyacheslav Gordeev became the partner of the ballerina . Being a soloist of the Bolshoi, Nadezhda studied in the class of A. Messerer. The development of roles took place under the leadership of M. Semenova. In addition to V. Gordeyev, Nadezhda’s partners were such leading soloists of the Bolshoi Bolshoi Theater as Yuri Vasyuchenko, Valery Anisimov, Irek Mukhamedov, Alexander Bogatyrev, Alexey Fadeyechev. Having received the education of a choreographer, N. Pavlova began to conduct master classes abroad: in Finland, in Germany, in Japan, in France. In the 90s of the 20th century, Nadezhda was a jury member at international competitions. In 1999, the ballerina became a laureate of the Stars of the World Ballet festival, which was held in the city of Donetsk.

Nadezhda became the youngest artist to receive the title of People's Artist of the USSR. This significant event occurred when she was only 28 years old.

Now Nadezhda Pavlova lives and works in Moscow. She teaches at GITIS, bears the title of professor, and is also a teacher-tutor of the ballet theater at this educational institution.
