Inspired by idols, among them the founder of Virgiyn Group, billionaire Richard Branson, a charismatic TV presenter, trying his hand at radio, film and business, Artyom Korolev confirms this rule. Managing to live in two cities, spending a lot of time in Los Angeles and working obsessively in Moscow, he does not leave pages of glossy magazines and broadcasts of youth television projects, smiling around with the happy smile of the Cheshire Cat.
The direct path to the dream
Born in Moscow on 03/07/1989, Artyom Korolev dreamed of becoming a presenter from childhood, so he began to receive professional education from the Ostankino School of Television. On the First Channel there was a musical project “Factory”, where everyone dreamed of breaking through to see the participants and take a joint photo. Korolev had his own interest, he enthusiastically watched the work of Yana Churikova and asked everyone the same question: "How to become a television star ?" Once on the set of the “Golden Gramophone”, from the first row he watched the gleam of the lead Andrei Malakhov when the live broadcast began. From such a drive came that the guy promised himself once to be sure to experience the same moments.
He was waiting for his chance, and he came: being fifteen, on the set of an extras for one of the clips, he found out about finding an employee on the cable channel “Moscow North” and immediately offered his services. Three people there did absolutely everything, without thinking about material rewards. This is Artyom Korolev today - a TV presenter with a substantial fee. Then for the whole year he earned only one and a half thousand rubles, but he was proud and happy that he was doing what he loved.
Professional career
Soon, the young man began to collaborate with Muz-TV, performing the work of a correspondent. Real luck came to him at the age of 19 - he became the host of the MTV Russia channel, having passed a solid casting. This is his first major project, which taught skill and opened the world of show business. In parallel, Artyom Korolev graduated from the Moscow State University Journalism Department, starred in a number of films and series: Club (all seasons), Interns (episode 64), American Kings of the Dance Floor, where he played a small episodic role. The best achievement on the radio was the show on Megapolis FM, co-hosted by Anfisa Chekhova.
After six years on MTV, the guy left the channel, believing that he should move away from the youth format. On the Friday television channel, his work began on the Friday news program, which he leads today with Olga Roeva. Artyom likes a state where he can choose which project to participate in. So, he supported the idea of holding an All-Russian week of financial literacy.
In the footsteps of Branson
If Richard Branson has about 400 diverse companies, then Artyom Korolev in this direction takes only the first steps. Having become the face and partner of Dandy Cafe, his first and most successful project, the young man tried to expand the restaurant chain by opening two more with the financial support of friends. One of them worked for some time overseas, where Artyom often happens.
In 2015, Artyom, in alliance with Elena Maximova, launched a brand clothing brand whose main source of inspiration is a passion for travel. Haze sweatshirts are his first step on the road to the fashion industry. For many years he has been friends with designer Katya Dobryakova, and calls her for fun his rival. It is difficult to say what the new direction of his business will be, given that he is a fan of gadgets and always has the most modern phone model in his pocket.
Artyom Korolev: personal life
The main woman of his life is still his mother, whom he is grateful for support in all his endeavors. After the divorce, she was left alone with her three-year-old son, whom she raised herself. Today he has the opportunity to give his mother a car, live separately, equipping his life and supporting her financially.
