The Gazelle car, the modifications of which have several options, belongs to the series of domestic light-duty trucks. This new development from the specialists of the Gorky Automobile Plant was introduced in 2012. By design and "stuffing" it turned out to be a completely new machine compared to its predecessors. From previous analogues, the car received only a frame, a rear beam and a gearbox.
As a power plant, a UMP gasoline engine or a Cummins Daimler type diesel engine is used. These engines and an enlarged radiator virtually eliminate the possibility of overheating. Any basic equipment is equipped with a hydraulic power steering. The safety of the driver and passengers is ensured by upgraded belts and safety cushions (not in all variations).

Consider the main indicators of the machine "Next Gazelle". Modifications of the technical and general characteristics are almost identical. These include:

The updated unit "eats" ten percent less gasoline, has improved torque and dynamics. The engine has become lighter, meets the Euro-5 standard, and is made of modern alloys. The motor is equipped with Korean (LG), German (Bosch) and American parts (Eaton).
Designers modernized the main elements of the power plant, including camshafts, electrical equipment and a piston assembly. The base of the motor is made in a characteristic four-cylinder design with eight valves.
GAZ-32213 and -322132
Modifications of Gazelle cars of these series have similar characteristics. Model 32213 has been produced since 2003 and can accommodate thirteen passengers. The minibus features include equipping the passenger compartment with comfortable seats with a high back. This car has undergone several stages of modernization.
Variation 322132 is a minibus with a side door. Auto production started in 1996. From other analogues, the car differs in the layout of the cabin and the presence of side racks for passengers. In 2005, designers updated the interior heating, installed an ABS system, and also began to draw up the body color in yellow.
About model 3221
The beginning of this predecessor of almost all passenger Gazelles dates from the spring of 1996. Initially, the car had modest characteristics and accommodated eight passengers.
The modernization of this car has the following chronology:
- 1996 - there are modifications with all-wheel drive.
- 2003 - An updated ventilation and heating system was designed and installed.
- 2005 - the ABS option is installed.
- 2008 - a special children's minibus was developed and put into operation that has the appropriate characteristics for equipment and transportation safety.

On the basis of the Gazelle, a number of machines are produced in the CIS countries. Among them:
- Ruta is a car manufactured in Ukraine (a repair plant in Chasovy Yar). It is intended for local passenger traffic.
- SemAR - a machine manufactured by the Semenov Automobile Repair Plant. The range included delivery vans, minibuses, school buses and special equipment.

Starting from the year 2000, passenger Gazelles have occupied at least 50 percent of the passenger transportation market. Recently, however, this brand has been superseded by modern models of foreign production (Ford Transit, Renault Traffic, Mercedes Sprinter and others).
Among the domestic brand, the Gazelle Next remains the most popular. Modifications, photos and characteristics of this car are of interest to many motorists. It is worth noting that the considered variations are equipped not only with gasoline and diesel engines, but also with gas equipment, which makes the operation of the machine even more profitable.
Conclusion
Gazelle minibuses until 2005 were mainly equipped with carburetor "engines" from ZMZ. Their power ranged from 90 to 110 horsepower. In addition, UMZ gas engines and Cummins diesel engines were widely used. The machine has rightfully earned a place of honor among domestic analogues due to its wide range of models, maintainability, fitness for not very good roads and reasonable price.
