Consider the composition of the fleet in more detail.
Aeroflot Boeings
The Boeings of the Aeroflot fleet , a photo of one of which you will see below, are represented by two models:
- Boeing B737-800 - designed for flights over medium and long distances. It is considered a wide-body airliner. Boeing aircraft have been manufactured since 1981 - during this period all of their shortcomings were discovered and eliminated, therefore, such airliners are rightfully considered the most reliable and safe. There are 26 units of Boeing B737-800 in the Aeroflot fleet, the oldest of which is 3.7 years old, and the newest - a couple of months. This aircraft model has 138 seats in the economy class and 20 seats in the business category.

Aeroflot Airbuses
Airbus is the largest component of the Aeroflot fleet. We will analyze all the presented models:

As you remember, the companyโs long-lived aircraft belongs to this particular model - it is 13.6 years old. The newest Airbus A320-200 is 0.1 years old.

Models of the 320 series are narrow-bodied, designed for short and medium-haul air routes, while the rest, wide-bodied, are suitable for long-distance air transportation. The first variant, equipped with two CFM engines, is able to overcome routes with a length of 5-5.5 thousand km, while having the highest take-off weight of 70-80 tons.
Wide-body "Airbases" easily fly over distances of up to 10.5 thousand km, having a maximum take-off mass of 320 tons. Their average cruising speed is close to 880 km / h.

Since 2011, when the first aircraft was put into operation, 100 units of this equipment were produced. 160 new Sukhoi SuperJets-100 are expected, in addition to Aeroflot, Gazpromavia, Interjet (Mexico), PT Sky Aviation (Indonesia), etc.
Decommissioned
Consider airplanes that are no longer part of the Aeroflot fleet:
- Boeing B767-300. The model is completely out of use in 2014.
- IL-96. The pride of the domestic aircraft industry was completely removed from service in the same 2014. After a series of modifications, two IL-96s were transferred to Cubana (Cuban air carrier).
- Airbus A319-100. Fifteen data units of Airbus from 2013 to 2016 were smoothly transferred for use to the subsidiaries of the Aeroflot group - Aurora and Russia.
It should also be noted that there are 4 aircraft in storage in the air carrierโs fleet: two Airbus A320s, one Boeing 767-300 and one Sukhoi SuperJet-100.
Aeroflot Aviation Corporation owns one of the most modern and large-scale aircraft fleets in the world, which is constantly being upgraded and expanded with new models of both foreign (Boeing, Airbus) and domestic manufacturers (Sukhoi SuperJet).
