After downloading the next Word document from the Internet or when you enter the text yourself, you may find that the spaces between the words are quite wide. Sometimes this distance is so big that it just hurts the eye. This problem is not uncommon, and there are a sufficient number of ways to solve it.

We’ll talk about how to remove the space between words in Word by aligning it with the left margin, using an inextricable space, and eliminating non-printable characters such as End of Line and tabs. Use Inextricable Space
Now let's talk about how to remove the space between words in the Word by using an inextricable space. However, before that we pay a little attention to the simplest method - left alignment.
The fact is that huge gaps can appear due to incorrectly configured text formatting settings, and sometimes normal left alignment can help. To implement it, you can use the same button on the taskbar or the combination of CTRL + L. But, of course, this method is not suitable in cases where it is necessary to maintain alignment in width.
Now let's talk about how to remove the space between words in the Word when aligning in width. We will use an inextricable space for this. It is done very simply by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + SPACEBAR.
Knowing the desired combination, you just need to replace all wide spaces with inextricable ones, after which the problem will disappear.
Remove "End of line"
Now it's time to touch the non-printable characters. Namely, such as "End of Line". It is set when you press ENTER in combination with SHIFT. In this case, you will not make a paragraph, but begin to write text from a new line. If it is justified in width, then the previous line will simply stretch across the entire width of the sheet, thereby creating unnecessary spaces.
To visualize non-printable characters, you need to use the corresponding button on the toolbar. Its location can be seen in the picture in the article.
Click this button and you will be able to see "End of line". It looks like an arrow curved to the left. It is similar to the one drawn on the ENTER key. To fix the problem with wide spaces, you need to erase all these characters.
We remove the tab
Among the non-printable characters, there is one more - tabulation. This character is placed when you press the TAB key. Fortunately, this problem is as easy to fix as the previous one. Even more, the ways to eliminate it are almost the same.
Now let's look at a way to remove the gap between paragraphs in the Word, if the tabs served as their creation. To get started, visualize all non-printable characters. In fact, the solution is very simple - you can use the replacement in the "Word".
To do this, first open the appropriate window by pressing CTRL + H. You will see two fields: “Find” and “Replace”. As you might guess, you need to enter a tab character in the "Find" field. This can be done by copying. Well, in the second field, put the usual space. Next, click "Replace All", and all large spaces from the text will disappear.
