Probably, every new user of Photoshop, burrowing deeper and deeper into the functional wilds of the program, makes new discoveries with enthusiasm and surprise, thinking with gratitude and admiration about the creators of a unique program, the possibilities of which sometimes seem unlimited. And here, from nowhere, an insinuating thought appears: "So you can draw money, too ?!"
Well, let’s say, not everyone will think about money, but how many people are interested in printing in Photoshop, and not to fake it, no, it’s just curious.
Seal Requirements
Since we are not going to falsify anything, we don’t need to know that, according to the legislation, there are no special rules governing the content of seals (if the state emblem is not reproduced on them), their manufacture, accounting and procedure for use. In order to create a seal in Photoshop, it’s enough for us to know that only legal entities are obliged to have a round stamp, and the rest are much worth it.
Most importantly, the full company name of the organization or the full name of the entrepreneur should be included in the press, as well as an indication of the location of the legal entity. The legislation is not against additional information, so you can reflect the logo or trademark, PSRN, TIN, etc.
And another very significant detail on which depends on how to make printing in Photoshop as realistic as possible. This, of course, is a cliche of printing, by means of which a print is printed in mirror image, and since it is cut out, the text in the figure should look voluminous (but this is not for everyone).
Round stamp
Let's move from words to deeds and draw a simple round stamp. Create a new document in Photoshop, for example, 300 x 300 pixels. with a resolution of 72 ppi on a white background.
Turn on the Text tool, select the size (say, 18 pt.), Color and type of font to your taste, and write a not-so-long name for your company, company, "shop", office, entrepreneur’s name or something else kind.
Select the text on the canvas and in the settings panel at the top click on the button with the letter "T" on the slide. In the window that opens - "Deform Text" - expand the "Style" drop-down list and select the "Arc" option, bending it to the "Bend" slider to 100%.
Copy (Ctrl + J) the text layer and turn the duplicate upside down (Edit> Transform> Rotate 180 Degrees), then place the copy under the original half-ring of the text.
Add a new layer, turn on the Oval selection tool and circle the text, then go to the Edit menu and select the Stroke command, specifying a width of about 6-8 pixels. and centering. Deselect (Ctrl + D).
Repeat the previous step to create an inner ring right below the inscription, as is customary in the design of round stamps, but make the stroke thickness a little smaller, somewhere around 5 pixels.
Note: you can put text in a circle, and without distorting the direct inscription, as was done with ours. You can draw a circle with the Ellipse tool, indicating the Contour mode in the settings panel at the top, then go to the Text tool and move the cursor to the contour line. As soon as it is transformed, you need to click the mouse, after which the cursor will blink familiarly, prompting you to enter text. You can delete a path by pressing Ctrl + H so you don’t mess with the Paths tab. In addition, to create a circle, you can use rings from the standard set of arbitrary shapes, for example, "Thin round frame." Just remember to rasterize this layer before adding a porous texture.
In the inner ring in the center of the press, you can (on a new layer) add a logo or trademark, an abbreviation of the company, or whatever you like, and this can be text, picture, or both.
We figured out how to draw a print in Photoshop, but that's only half the battle. Now you need to add a porous (or fine-grained) texture to the cliché pattern, as stamp prints usually look. This is achieved in various ways, but all of them, in principle, come down to adding noise.
Create a new layer on top of all the others, go to Filter> Rendering and select Clouds, then open the Filter menu again and choose Noise> Add Noise. Here you need to set the “Effect” to 18-20% (in our case), specify the distribution “Gaussian” and select “Monochrome”. Change the current blend mode for the “noisy” layer to “Screen”, and the print pattern is ready for fake activity.
Now you can select all the layers except the background, and for the sake of plausibility, carelessly mow the impression, causing the transformation (Ctrl + T) and slightly turning the picture.
Rectangular stamp
It’s even easier to print in Photoshop if its shape is rectangular. Let's say our stamp is made of rubber.
Create a new document with dimensions of 250 x 150 pixels. (enough for the middle stamp) and select red as the main color (it looks impressive), and turn the background black.
Activate the Text tool in bold at least 50 pt. make an inscription. For simplicity, let it be one word.
Go to "Layers"> "Rasterize"> "Text" or right-click on a layer and select a similar command.
Turn on the Rectangle selection tool and drag the box around the text, then go to the Edit menu and select Stroke, with a width of about 10 pixels. and positioning "Center" or "Inside" (Inside). Then deselect (Ctrl + D).
You can add a Shadow layer style to the stamp frame with the text inside by selecting the appropriate options to create a three-dimensional effect.
Now let's add a texture to the picture, which imitates a print of a seal made of porous rubber. To do this, go to Filter> Strokes and select Spatter. In Photoshop cs6, this spray tool is located in the Filter Gallery in the same Strokes folder.
In the filter dialog box, set “Spray Radius” 17 and “Smoothness” 5.
Next, open the "Select" menu and select "Color Range" range). Here, in the “Select” list at the top, select “Sampled Colors”, make the “Fuzziness” maximum (200) and select “Selection” at the bottom. Now take a dropper and take black on your stamp. By clicking OK, you will see that all black spots are now highlighted, so they can be removed, thus creating a print effect. Without removing the selection, click the Delete button until black spots are completely removed.
Note: a spotty texture of a rubber print can be created with large-size grunge brushes (on the Web) by selecting a suitable print pattern and a darker color than a cliche. Click on the print pattern and the texture of the rubber material is ready.
Action
To "fake" a document with a stamp, it is not at all necessary to know how to make a print in Photoshop with your own hands, because kind and "lazy" people have already done this for us. We are, of course, talking about actions (Actions), as they are called, although in the program these macros are called "Operations". There are both paid and free versions.
After downloading the file, take it with you (or copy) and go along the route: drive C:> Program Files> Adobe Photoshop CS> Presets (Sets). Here you will find the Photoshop Actions folder and put your file there.
Now launch Photoshop, select "Operations" in the "Window" menu, then click on the triangle in the upper right and select the "Download Operations" command. A window will open before you where you need to select your file and click the "Download" button. Make sure that your collection has replenished with a new action and use it for health.
Brushes
As you know, Photoshop brushes can be painted not only with classic brush strokes, but also with a wide variety of patterns. However, the most important advantage of this artistic tool of the program is that it allows us to create our own prints. Having mastered this not very difficult science, you can easily cope with such a "jewelry" job as printing in Photoshop, because you can not draw anything, but simply use drawings or photographs of stamps as prints in the procedure for creating a brush.
It’s even easier and faster to solve the problem with printing by downloading (free!) Ready-made brushes, though it’s unlikely to use them in scams.
Downloaded brushes are usually put in the Brushes folder, where you can get along the route: C:> Program Files> Adobe> Adobe Photoshop CS> Presets. Then the files will immediately go to the editor, but you can create your own folder in any place convenient for you and send files there.
In this case, open Photoshop, go to Edit> Kits> Manage Kits, in the window that opens, specify the location where the file is and click "Download", after which a new brush will appear in the set. We hope how to make a print in Photoshop, now you understand.
