The most convenient way to get to Serbia is by plane. There are two international airports in the country. The largest of them is located in the capital and is called Nikola Tesla, it is here that flights from Moscow fly. Another international airport in Serbia - Nis, serves the nearest cities of Europe. Kosovo has Limak Airport, which is not inferior to modern European air gates in traffic.
Airport in the capital
Nikola Tesla Airport is located near Surchin, 18 km west of Belgrade.
He began his work in 1962. At that time, a 3350 meter long landing strip was built, a large terminal for servicing aircraft and a control tower. Later, a new passenger terminal was built, the runway was extended and expanded, and in 1997 equipment for CAT II was put into operation, which allowed the airport to be used for landing and taking off aircraft in low visibility conditions.
The airport in Belgrade (Serbia) is the base for the national airline Air Serbia, Wizz Air and others.
How to get to the center
You can get to the main airport of Serbia by car on the E-70 and E-75 motorways. Regular buses go to the center of Belgrade every 30-40 minutes, the ticket price starts from 80 dinars (50 rubles).
In order to improve passenger service, the Belgrade City Assembly decided on a fixed price for taxi rides from Nikola Tesla Airport to the city. Small airfield
The airport (Nis) Konstantin the Great is located in the village of Medoshevac and is an alternate airport for Belgrade and Podgorica. The first flight was carried out on May 1, 1935, when the Serbian carrier Aeroput took off on the route Belgrade - Nis - Skopje - Bitola - Thessaloniki. After the end of the Second World War, a concrete runway was built, in the period from 1985 to 1986, work was carried out on the construction of a passenger terminal, technical unit and updating the landing strip.
Officially, the Nis Airport (Serbia International Airport) was opened in 1986, the event was accompanied by a grand air show, which was attended by several tens of thousands of residents.

Flights to Kosovo
Slatina Airport (Limak) is located 15 km from Pristina, a city on the Balkan Peninsula, a partially recognized republic of Kosovo. In 1990, he was granted international status, there are modern hangars for servicing aircraft in the territory, and the length of the runway is 2500 meters.
