Airports in Serbia: description, information, how to get

The most convenient way to get to Serbia is by plane. There are two international airports in the country. The largest of them is located in the capital and is called Nikola Tesla, it is here that flights from Moscow fly. Another international airport in Serbia - Nis, serves the nearest cities of Europe. Kosovo has Limak Airport, which is not inferior to modern European air gates in traffic.

Nikola Tesla Airport is located near Surchin, 18 km west of Belgrade.

He began his work in 1962. At that time, a 3350 meter long landing strip was built, a large terminal for servicing aircraft and a control tower. Later, a new passenger terminal was built, the runway was extended and expanded, and in 1997 equipment for CAT II was put into operation, which allowed the airport to be used for landing and taking off aircraft in low visibility conditions.

How to get to the center
