Childhood
Our hero is a native Muscovite. He was born in the thaw era. Parents offered their son a standard program for a native of an intelligent Jewish family: sports, music, languages. The lessons were first held at home. However, the future producer of the notes hid under the bed, and he hid from the teacher in the toilet. Therefore, further training took place at a music school. Alexander mastered the piano for 7 years. Like most children, at first he did not like music at all, and then he even entered the clarinet, which he studied for two years. Later, Alexander Gurevich more than once "strummed" on various musical instruments: either in groups of the yard-school caliber, then in the Club of cheerful and resourceful, then at home for the soul. He also studied at a prestigious special school with an English bias and was engaged in swimming. The boy was very fond of animals and dreamed of becoming a biologist.
Youth
However, after graduation, the young man enters MISI - the capital's Civil Engineering Institute (now a university). In this Moscow university, not only thousands of qualified builders and architects were educated, but also with a dozen people known throughout the country. It was completed by director Alexander Mitta, satirists Andrei Knyshev and Arkady Khait, TV presenter Leonid Yakubovich. If we take into account that Vladimir Vysotsky, Igor Kostolevsky and Gennady Khazanov also studied at MISI at different times, then it becomes clear that the institute was distinguished by a democratic and creative atmosphere. Alexander Gurevich received a construction education, almost did not work in his specialty, but he still built a house - a summer house for summer cottage.
KVN
In the 80s, IISS played the role of the unofficial capital of KVN. The future certified builder Gurevich issued wall newspapers, voiced the speeches of the university KVN team, participated in the first issue of the revived game in the 1986-1987 season, which was shown on television. Gurevich was the main director, participated in the creation of creative ideas and slogans, and also personally voiced some of his works, since he has an unusual timbre of voice. In 1994, he was lucky to take part in the famous advertising festival "Cannes Lions". Twice for his videos, the director received a statuette of Ramy - an award of the international film event in Houston WorldFest. Until 2010, Gurevich remained one of the co-owners of Video International. Then the owners of the holding, which today employs about 2,000 people, changed.
TV
The Video International company was established in 1987 as an advertising company. Five years later, she was already engaged in television. This part of the project was headed by Alexander Gurevich, whose biography is considered in this article.
