So, in 1983, after the long labors of the Boeing engineers, who designed the replacement for the already Boeing 727 and 737, the first B 757-200 appeared. A number of technological innovations introduced in this model had no analogues in other Boeing planes that were produced before, nor in the same Airbus airliners, or even less so from other manufacturers.
For example, for the first time in the history of aircraft construction, computers were placed in the cockpit that provided important flight information and calculated aircraft motion parameters . The direct successor to this aircraft was the Boeing 757-300, which received greater passenger capacity and an elongated fuselage. The first Boeing 757-300 was released in 1998 - and the period between this date and the release time of 757-200, which is as much as 15 years, clearly testifies to the extreme “success” of the latter.
