Blagoveshchensk Airport is one of the largest transport hubs in the East Siberian region. Thanks to its functioning, regular air traffic between the Siberian and Far Eastern districts is ensured.
General information
Blagoveshchensk Airport also has another name - Ignatievo, because it is located 15 km from the settlement of the same name in the Amur Region.
The construction of the complex was completed in 1997, and a year later, regular maintenance of IL-62 aircraft was established. For a long time, only this type of aircraft was serviced.
In 2002, the route network increased, and in 2003 a reorganization was carried out. The annual passenger flow was not more than 120,000 people. The company begins to develop actively during this period.
The new terminal building was commissioned in 2010, which significantly affected the increase in throughput. By 2011, runway lighting equipment was replaced and a refueling terminal was built.
To date, the airport complex is designed to serve 300 passengers per hour. The runway is made of asphalt concrete, its size is 2800 × 45 m. On the territory of the aerodrome there are parking lots for 44 aircraft. The airfield complex can accept aircraft of almost all large Soviet types, as well as Airbus 319-321, Boeing 737, 767, 757, Cessna, DHC, Sukhoi, Bombardier.

Blagoveshchensk Airport: how to get
You can use a taxi or private car to travel to the airport. Near the airport there is parking for 200 cars. Parking is free.
You can use buses:
- No. 8 - from the center of Blagoveshchensk - “Department Store” stop, the total travel time is about 50 minutes, the ticket price is 17 rubles .;
- No. 10 - also from "Department Store", travel time - about half an hour, ticket price - 19 rubles.
