The merchant traveled for a long time to distant countries, conducted trade. He bought gifts for older daughters. But he will not understand in any way what kind of flower the scarlet is needed for his Nastenka. Nothing to do, it's time to return to his home. But on the way to the homeland, robbers attack his caravan. Our merchant was left without goods, and without assistant friends. For a long time he wandered alone in the forest and saw a beautiful palace. I went there, looks, everything is trimmed with gold, silver and semiprecious stones. As our hero thought about food, a table with dishes appeared before him. After eating, the merchant decided to take a walk in the beautiful garden near the palace. Outlandish plants grew there, birds of paradise sat on trees . And suddenly he noticed a scarlet flower, more beautiful of which he had never seen. The merchant rejoiced, tore it off. And at that moment everything around darkened, lightning sparkled, and a huge shaggy monster appeared before him. It roared, asked why he plucked his scarlet flower. The merchant fell on his knees before him, asking for forgiveness and permission to take this miracle to his youngest daughter Nastya. The monster of the merchant let go home, but made a promise from him that he would return here back. And if he doesn’t come, then he must send one of his daughters. And the prince of overseas told her that with her love she had broken the spell of the evil sorceress, who had turned him into a monster. And he asked her to become his wife. They returned together to the father of Nastya, who blessed the young to live together, live and make good.
