If it is shorter, the fish will not take the bait, feeling the hook. If it’s longer, the carp will only swallow a boil without a hook.
- It is quite effective to use floating boilies in combination with sinking. Cut, for example, each half so that at the end when floating it is floating. Thus, we will slightly raise the bait from the bottom, making it more visible to the fish.
- It is advisable to use a dusty boil several sizes larger than necessary, since over time it loses in diameter. The dissolution activity of such a boil depends on the temperature of the water, on its acid content. This must be taken into account before catching on boilies of this kind.
