Carp fishing

Catching carp is rightfully one of the main places for fascination. The fisherman should be well acquainted with the habits of this fish from the cyprinid family, study in advance all the features of this reservoir, and also find out where it stands and the way to go feeding.

The main catch of carp is started just a week after the end of spawning, from the beginning of July, and its peak occurs on warm August days, when the water temperature reaches 26 Β° C.

With the onset of cooling and lowering the temperature, the nibble almost begins to fade and already completely stops in early October.

Parking lots of small schools of this fish can be found by ear, by loud chomping in the thickets of reeds and algae, and at night, in search of food, the common carp comes into smaller backwaters, completely overgrown with grass.

Catching carp has one main reference point: if splashing and slapping are heard in the morning silence, then this is a game of large individuals who jump out of the water, make a candle and throw themselves back into the pond.

In general, this fish can most often be caught near a steep coast, near the channel, and if the river is not wide, it should be in a weak stream or in the channel itself. In lakes, sazan likes the same places as its relative, carp.

Best of all, carp fishing takes place in areas with a broken bottom relief, leading by ledges or dumps, to a depth of six meters. At the same time, the conditions for survival must be taken into account.

To search for food, the common carp uses not only their vision, but also the sense of touch with taste buds. And although this fish does not see very well in muddy flowering water, this does not interfere with its enhanced feeding. At the same time, she takes any bite, if it is not live food or algae, she takes with caution, not swallowing immediately, but savoring it for a long time. And if something goes wrong, the food instantly spits out.

Sazan is quite sensitive to sounds, so any careless movement can scare him away, and since he often jumps out of the reservoir, clearly noticing everything around, then camouflage will not be superfluous.

The nibble of this fish directly depends on the type of bait, as well as on its degree of satiety. The usual bait with hungry carp is taken very decisively and without much thought: the fish at this time immediately drowns the float. In some cases, the float enters the water so lightly that the angler does not have time to react, although in most cases the carp is quite careful with the bait, so the fishing line shudders, then dies down, and even shudders again. Such β€œtooth tests” can be repeated several times, and finally, when the fish finally engages in the bait, the float will noticeably move to the side, and then will be immersed in water.

The most catching thing is fishing for carp on a cake or other bait, including grated meat products. And the method of casting bait directly depends on the speed of the current: if the current is fast, then the bait should be packed either in a lump of clay, or in a mesh bag.

It is this bait for carp with the smell of sunflower that attracts him the most.

In this case, standard equipment is used, and the necessary load is selected based on the speed of the current. The fisherman should not forget that the cubes of the cake have some windage, so the calculation of the weight of the sinker should be carried out with this in mind.

In fast and deep areas, carp fishing is best done from a boat, which is usually put on two anchors, and the feeder is mounted at the stern or on the bow.

Donka used is very simple. It is mounted on a spinning rod with a load of up to 200 g or on a carp rod.

However, catching carp from the coast has a certain advantage, such as the convenience of casting, if the channel is close.

Sometimes a carp rod with a length of up to two and a half meters, equipped with a powerful inertial reel, is quite enough .
