Opera theatre

The Opera and Ballet Theater (Kiev) named after Taras Shevchenko was founded in 1867. It was then that the city had its own permanent troupe. Puppet Theatre

Children's theaters in Kiev offer tales, musical and puppet shows to boys and girls. The oldest of them was opened in 1927. This is a puppet theater, the creators of which are artists O.I. Solomarsky and I.S. Deeva. The troupe immediately gained popularity. And after 10 years of its existence, the theater received its first victory in the festival.

The performances of the Kiev puppeteers are distinguished by their brightness, poetry and great creative culture.

Today, 24 actors work in the troupe of the theater. All of them are talented and highly professional. The theater has created its own studio, which trains its future artists.
