• One of the most common eye diseases is barley. This is a form of infection that appears at the base of the eyelashes, which causes swelling and redness of the eyelid. However, this ailment is not at all dangerous, it is easily treated with a warm compress from a damp, clean cloth, soaked in a warm little water. This remedy can be a panacea for all kinds of edema. Under the influence of heat, the accumulated pus and barley itself are slowly absorbed. After repeating this procedure for several days, the tumor disappears.
• A very unpleasant fact is the presence of these parasites. There are many factors that trigger the appearance of head lice, but we will consider only one. When lice settle in a child’s cilia, a medium-sized tumor appears on the upper eyelid. Be careful not to use anti-lice drugs on the cilia - this can cause significant harm to your child. Use petroleum jelly or any other gentle ointment - this will help permanently remove them from your child’s eye.
• Bad tan. When leaving the child on a hot day in the sun, you should cover his eyelids with sunscreen. If you ignore this, you risk “giving” the baby a swollen eye the next day. But if this did happen, you can try to remove the swelling with a cold compress. The eyes of a child can be covered with cotton pads or chilled slices of cucumber. If treatment needs to be done within a few days, then put on your child’s sunglasses so that the infection does not spread further.
