The next step will be washing with any detergent and drying, and the final preparatory step is degreasing with a solvent. After complete drying, you can paint - with a brush, roller, remote control, or immerse in a basin with the composition, if the center is collapsible or small.
Powder Options

Paint acrylic

Preparatory work will be cleaning, including rust, followed by degreasing. The spray can is shaken vigorously for a minute, its contents are sprayed from a distance of 20 centimeters. Burnishing as an alternative

While it is kept there, a solution of laundry soap is made and boiled; a roasting pan removed from the acid bath is placed in it for ten minutes. Stationary barbecue

The stone skeleton is covered with heat-resistant varnish, which increases not only refractory properties, but also resistance to other negative influences. Their most democratic representative is KO-85, but keep in mind that in severe frosts it often cracks.
If you do not consider it necessary to increase the heat resistance of your hearth, take care at least of its durability. Brick and stone do not resist biological attack and moisture too well. In order to help in this fight, use a silicone-based water repellent. The fungus of the brazier will not be scary, the outer surfaces will acquire water-repellent properties, moreover, the masonry will be protected from penetration into the sprayed fat.
